Meet Tallina, a dedicated postpartum doula and childbirth educator. Growing up with six brothers and one sister, she mastered the art of caring for her siblings and is often hailed as the best big sister ever! Tallina lives in Portland with her two spouses and their three furry companions: Zuko, the playful landshark dog; Rory, the wise old cat; and Falcor, the curious kitty. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and creating fun, funky art for her yard. After years of working with toddlers and families in daycare and outreach programs, Tallina discovered her passion for birth work. Following her training and certification, she went from being curious about birth to being utterly in love with the science and magic behind it. Her goal is to support clients in achieving their ideal birth experience. Tallina understands that childbirth can be challenging, so she works closely with your birth team. Her trauma-aware, family-focused approach aims to empower you with knowledge and resilience. She fosters an atmosphere of laughter and love in the birthing suite and at home. Tallina excels at helping parents navigate the early years of parenting, offering a listening ear and knowledgeable support. After all, parenting can be tough, and understanding your child’s needs isn’t always easy.

Recent review

Where do I begin? Skyler pretty much became part of our family now. She is just absolutely incredible at what she does and was the perfect postpartum doula. From listening to me cry through the Baby Blues to making sure I have enough water and eat lunch, Skyler always knew exactly what my family and I needed in the moment. She is extremely empathetic and has some kind of a sixth sense which helped her always do and say the right thing. The way she handled my toddler boys and my newborn baby girl with so much grace and patience was inspiring. Skyler is extremely organized, clean, an amazing cook and creative with looking after the older kids. I feel fortunate to have met her and create a bond that we now share. You cannot go wrong with hiring Skyler and I would even say, you absolutely need her to survive the postpartum period.
