Hi everyone! My name is Crystal Nightingale and I am a mother baby nurse and lactation consultant. I provide newborn care, postpartum, feeding and sleep support to new families. I am passionate about helping families make parenting easier. As a mom of 4 myself, I know firsthand how overwhelming, yet so rewarding being a parent can be. And support is so important! My goal is to bridge the gap in postpartum and lactation support. Many things have changed over the years in regards to the medical field, including newborn care and lactation, and I am excited to help your family navigate parenthood through evidence based education and resources. As a doula and childbirth educator with over 20 years of experience, I have come to learn that compassionate support is the most important thing I bring to birth. Close to 1000 births matters. Having taught 1000s of couples in childbirth classes matters. But mostly what matters is that the person giving birth feels respected, listened to and supported by someone who is thinking about all possible options for you in an objective way. I believe in freedom of choice based on knowledge of the alternatives. I aim to increase confidence and decrease fear. And in the end, I want you to feel like you have had a compassionate, knowledgeable companion dedicated to helping you navigate this this major life transition that we call birth.

While growing my own family, I felt deeply called to birth work and became a doula. Over time I discovered that my greatest passion lives in the fourth trimester—supporting mothers and families as they transition, heal, and find their rhythm together. As a postpartum doula, I focus on nurturing the mother, creating steadiness in the home, and helping the whole family integrate this new chapter with care, confidence, and connection. My goal is to provide grounded support so you feel seen, rested, and truly supported during this tender and transformative time.

I am a postpartum doula, village tender, parent and early childhood educator. I teach postpartum caregivers how to add parent and baby groups to their services AND I offer local and virtual classes for new parents who want to build community and have fun parenting.

In my free time, I enjoy taking mindful walks, going to the farmer's market on Saturdays, and exploring new places to eat with my two boys and husband.

After a 15-year career in the medical field, Nicole has pursued her true passion of supporting families during the transformational process of childbirth as a birth doula. She has discovered her true calling. Nicole is married and has three children. Her easygoing, confident, and approachable personality, along with her good sense of humor, helps put families at ease. Nicole works well with hospital staff, birth center staff, and home birth providers, viewing her role as a team member who helps create a calm and supportive birth environment. She maintains an unbiased approach to childbirth, providing families with education and information, and empowering them to speak up. Nicole brings a variety of tools to assist families in making the best decisions for themselves. She is an expert in the use of the birth sling and provides hands-on, loving care and physical support.

I am a full-spectrum doula serving the Santa Cruz, Watsonville, and San Jose areas. I specialize in birth, postpartum, miscarriage, and abortion.
