As far back as I can remember I have been passionate about infant care, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and parenting. After dedicating 23 years to being a stay-at-home mom for my three children, I made a significant decision in November 2022 to channel my time and energy into pursuing my passion for becoming a labor and birth doula. Reflecting on my own four deliveries, I realized the immense value a doula could have provided by offering education, empowerment, and encouragement to advocate for myself. I chose the certification program aligned with my goals, completing 27 hours of in-person learning.
