I have a heartfelt understanding on how hard it is to leave your child with a provider that you do not know.I have many references to ease your mind.Presently I am a nanny for two wonderful families,(nanny family share)caring for twins since 2mos and another child since 4mos (3 infants at one time)I do this with ease and extremely love it.Previously I held 2other nanny positions caring for 1yr olds.Provided date nights, overnight, weekend and travel care.My childcare career started when I created/owned/directed a very successful daycare business for 13 yrs.Loved, guided and taught 6 full time children, newborn to age 6 and school aged children before and after school. Enjoyed working with special needs children. Created&implemented curriculum.Understanding that play promotes curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving which helps develop a positive self-image.Curriculum was based according to children's needs/interests, individually and as a group, with preparation for kindergarten readiness in mind. Prided myself in developing a great rapport with families.

As a mother of three, I've walked the journey of birth and parenthood with both uncertainty and empowerment. My own experiences have taught me the profound impact that supportive care and holistic approach can have on a woman's transition into motherhood. At 20, I became a mom to my daughter Ava, navigating a medicated 12-hour labor and the challenges that followed. Despite the difficulties, I was determined to grow and learn. With my second child, Maxim, I discovered the strength of my body and the power of natural birth. However, it wasn't until the birth of my third child, Natalie, that I truly embodied the transformative potential of holistic birth and parenting. Through dedicated preparation, self-care, and community support, I cultivated a profound trust in my own abilities and the natural process of birth. As a certified doula through The Matrona, I've been blessed to learn from the wisdom of Whapio and the Matrona lineage. I strive to bring the knowledge and heart-centered approach of these wise women to every birth I attend, honoring the sacredness and individuality of each family's journey. As a holistic doula, I'm devoted to creating a nurturing space for women to tap into their own strength, resilience, and intuition. I believe that every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and supported throughout her journey into motherhood. My heart is committed to guiding women in embracing their unique experiences, trusting their inner wisdom, and unfolding into the fullness of their own power.

It was so wonderful having Jessica support me through my labor and delivery. She made me feel comfortable and was so helpful offering different techniques to try to work through the contractions and pushing phase. I am so thankful to have had her help!

Me and my husband just had our 3rd baby, and decided it would be helpful to have a postpartum doula join us during my postpartum recovery period. Let's face it, we were officially out numbered and breastfeeding a little we had our hands full and could use a little help. Brittany was a beautiful match for our home. She has an amazingly warm energy about her and so knowledgeable in herbalism. She jumped right in to help where we needed her to, from helping with the kids, laundry, and dishes. It was so helpful in time where I am not 100% yet. She also offered a kind ear to hear my birth story and offered some good advice on how to navigate our new family dynamic. So appreciative to have met such a kind soul and highly recommend her during your postpartum journey.

I want to introduce myself. My name is Olivia Gooden, CD(DONA)and I am the owner of Another Mother's Touch Doula Services. I became a mother 33 years ago with my first child. I remember being in that delivery room alone. Even though my mom and baby dad was on the outside in the waiting room. I was alone. I felt alone. Things happened so fast. Some of those things are still a blurry to this day. About 27 years ago, I witnessed my first child being born outside of my own two and it was amazing and since then I've witnessed or supported about 12 others and this was before I got my official doula training. It came so natural to coach, encourage, inspire these mothers through and after seeing those miracles being born over and over that I wanted to do this. Back then, at first, there wasn't a name for what I found myself loving to do. Then eventually I heard them calling it a birth coach but there wasn't anyone close by to train and certify me, which I found out as time went on that I didn't have to be certify just to support another mother. If we go back in history there were midwives and other women and mothers supporting the laboring mother but somewhere along time, we got a way from that but I wanted to be that support. As time went on I began to hear the word, Doula. Doula is a geek word that mean " woman's servant." It is also define as a trained companion who is not a healthcare professional and who supports another person through a significant health-related experience, such as childbirth, miscarriage, induced abortion or stillbirth, or non-reproductive experiences such as dying. (I don't support abortion). Types: There are a few types of doulas: birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and antepartum doulas. A birth doula provides assistance to another woman before and during labor and childbirth; a postpartum doula provides assistance to new parents after their baby is born (though some doulas offer both services). Once again there was no one close around me that had ever heard the word, doula. It began as a desire in my heart over 25 years ago. June 2020, during the pandemic I had the opportunity to go through doula training. Even though I don't have to get certified and dont have to have the training, I wanted the benefits that would come along with having both. Not only would I be a blessing to mothers and fathers but I could benefit from what the industry will be in the future. As a mother, it feels good knowing that you have the support of another mother and/or woman by your side along with any other supporting person while you are bringing a precious gift in the world while you are at your vulnerable state. November 14, 2022 i became a certified Birth Dona (CD) through DONA International. Another Mother's Touch is here to support you.One mother supporting another mother. Trained and Certified. Olivia Gooden CD(DONA) Owner of Another Mother's Touch LLC. Doula Services Trained and Certified *CD means Certified Doula

Hi, I'm Ashley! I found a passion for Birth and Postpartum Services after the birth of my first child. I am certified through The International Doula Institute and have a background in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children from birth to 6 since I was 17 years old. I started my career with infants and children as an infant room teacher, I worked through the ages and enjoyed my time as a Lead One-Year-Old teacher, but my passion was infants. I also spent 2 years as an Assistant Georgia PreK teacher and was the Assistant Director of a local childcare facility. I now have 3 children of my own, 2 girls and 1 boy, all school-aged. My passion is guiding and helping families navigate adding a new family member whether it is your 1st or 5th child. There are challenges that come with every stage, and I love being there teaching and helping to guide and make the transition as smooth as possible.

Hi, I’m Jenette I’m a wife, and a mother of seven. I’m honored to be someone you can count on during one of the most important moments of your life. I truly understand the strength, courage, and love that birth brings out in you. My own birth experiences showed me just how powerful it is to have someone calm, loving, and experienced by your side—someone who really sees you, supports you, and stays with you through every moment. With 14 years of personal and professional experience, I bring certified expertise as a Full-Spectrum Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, Lactation Counselor, and Medical Assistant to every family I support. I combine compassionate care with solid knowledge. But even more than my certifications, it’s my personal birth journey, struggles, and life lessons that shape how I support you. I understand the strength and vulnerability that birth brings, and I use that understanding to comfort and empower every family I work with. I take a holistic approach to care, supporting the whole mother and family—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Whether you’re birthing in a hospital or at home, my goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and spiritually grounded throughout your journey. Hospital Births I help you navigate policies while advocating for your natural, informed choices, ensuring you feel confident and respected in every decision. Home Births I provide full support and education so you and your family feel prepared, nurtured, and fully supported in the birth experience you desire. I also help partners and loved ones feel involved, informed, and confident in their roles. Together, we create a loving, supportive space for everyone as you welcome your baby. I approach every birth with reverence and prayerfulness, walking with you as your steady advocate and calm guide. My goal is to help you find strength, peace, and confidence, no matter how your birth unfolds. Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, or something in between, I want to help you feel prepared, empowered, and truly supported every step of the way. I offer both virtual and in-person support, so no matter where you are, you can receive thoughtful, compassionate care tailored to your family. Postpartum Support After birth, I’m still here. I provide breastfeeding support, newborn care guidance, and a listening ear, walking with you through the postpartum period and helping your family transition with confidence and care. Choosing your birth support is deeply personal. If you want someone who will stand by your side with kindness, skill, and faith, I would be honored to be there for you. Let’s walk this beautiful journey together with Shiphrah Birth & Beyond.

Since I was a child I found myself in admiration of birth and babies. But after I had my own children I found myself admiring and wanting to care for pregnant and birth women. Since then my love has only grown. I love to mother the mother, answer questions, and just be an endless source of compassion and support.

I hired Maddy as my doula for my second pregnancy/delivery. She was always there for me and I always felt fully supported. My goal was to have a natural delivery without medication— but the hospital required I be induced as my tendency was to carry longer. She helped me labor comfortably with various techniques; aromatherapy, movement, hydrotherapy, etc. I was able to labor to 7 cm before I opted for the epidural, and I’m so thankful she was there to help me get to that point. She remained with me well after delivery to support me through the hemorrhage I endured. Maddy was such a blessing to us, and I will certainly use her again!

I was born & raised in Georgia. I have a husband and we have 3 kids. After having three different labor, deliver & postpartum experiences, women's health has become my passion, more & more. I love all things from pregnancy, to postpartum and can't wait to help you adjust to life in the 4th trimester. It's not always easy and I am here to help. I want my clients to know that I don't want you to clean before I come, or fix your hair. I expect that you're in cozy clothes and there may be a mess in your home. You're a new parent and it's exhausting! That's what I'm here for. :) I am currently only offering postpartum services, due to not being able to be on-call 24-7, but will be offering more services in the future.

Jenn supported us with the birth of our first child. From the first time we met with her, Jenn exuded confidence and was very knowledgeable, which put us at ease. As first time parents, we didn't know what the process would be like and appreciated all of her tips and best practices that she shared with us. We felt informed and equipped to make the best decisions for our family. She helped us craft a birth plan, shared relevant resources with us and communicated with us often in the weeks leading up to the birth. Jenn is very responsive, punctual and professional while being down to earth and approachable. Not only did she care for me as the birth mother, but she also ensured that my husband was supported throughout the process as well—which was very appreciated by us. Jenn went above and beyond, staying with us for awhile after our daughter was born to make sure that we were well settled in our hospital room. We love that Jenn took photos and videos of precious moments that we will cherish forever. Jenn is thoughtful and caring and shared snacks and personal stories with us for our postpartum visit. We highly recommend Jenn and would hire her again in a heart beat if the opportunity arises!

Hi all mamas, I’m Tara and I’m certain I’m the right doula for you and your growing family. I’m a mother of three beautiful children and I’ve experienced three very different births personally: medicated with epidural, all natural, and an emergency c section. I also breastfed each child for over a year and offer lactation support postpartum. I fully understand the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. I believe a new version of the mother is born along with the babies. I’m here to advocate for you, to support you and your personal goals. The fear of the unknown is lesser when we know someone really has our back and I will be that person for you. I’ve been an unofficial doula and breastfeeding guru for friends and family for years. You will not have to do any of this alone. I’ll hold your hand, your legs lol and your baby.

I cannot recommend Tara highly enough as a doula. From the moment we met, her warmth and compassion were evident, and she made me feel completely at ease throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. Tara was always available to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they seemed, and her knowledge and expertise were truly invaluable. During labor, Tara's calming presence and practical support made a significant difference. She helped me with breathing techniques, provided comforting massages, and continuously offered words of encouragement. Her ability to anticipate my needs and respond with such care was incredible. It felt like she was reading my mind at times! One moment that stands out is when I was feeling particularly overwhelmed during labor. Tara suggested a change in position and guided me through it, which made a world of difference in my comfort and progress. Her suggestions were always spot-on, and she worked seamlessly with the medical staff to ensure that my birth plan was respected. Postpartum, Tara continued to be a pillar of support. She checked in regularly, offering helpful advice on breastfeeding and newborn care, and was always there to lend an empathetic ear. Her support made the transition into motherhood much smoother, and I felt so much more confident knowing I had her by my side. Overall, Tara's dedication, professionalism, and genuine care set her apart. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her as my doula. I highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate doula.
