She’s more like a sister and I’m is so accommodating and real. Enjoyed my experience with her. We planned a home birth but it was my first pregnancy and 72 hours of labor so I transferred to hospital. But even then it wasn’t THAT bad. She encapsulated my placenta as well and made me a tincture, so she picked my placenta up swiftly! I would recommend her to anyone! However it’s worth saying she had one thing to note is although she’s very nurturing and innerstanding and has ALOT of outside and inside help and support from mentors and those with children. She doesn’t have children herself so I felt a slight disconnect with my first delivery because I wasn’t sure what to do and she couldn’t coach me through that aspect but other than that I’d 10 out 10 recommend.

Now, with my certification and a deeper understanding of placenta encapsulation, I am confident and ready to offer my services towards postpartum healing. My experience with Earthside Evonna was more then what I expected. From the first prenatal visit up to the postpartum visit , Evonna has been so pleasant. She helped me prepare for the delivery I desired. We did prenatal yoga , had mama talks with other moms , classes to keep me informed . I’ve had the pleasure of working with Evonna for my third child. Although initially I didn’t think I needed a doula, I’m glad that the universe had other plans for me. I got pregnant in 2015 and knew I was a single mom so support was very important to me. Evonna was early in her doula career but she was more than willing to give me the help and guidance I needed. Evonna created fun prenatal visits like yoga in the park and came over to teach me and my mom laboring positions we could do at home before we went to the hospital. I felt like I had a real genuine friend and she even came to the hospital to help ease the pain with different movements and breathing techniques. Evonna is a true gem. We are still keep in contact to this day. She will definitely be my Doula for my next pregnancy if I ever decide to have another child. I would definitely recommend her to any and everyone!
