About Charlotte

Hi! I'm Dr. Charlotte Blanchet, a birth doula, chiropractor, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and the founder of The River of Life Chiropractic Center in Kennesaw, Georgia. As both a healthcare professional and a mother of two, I have a deep passion for supporting women throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I believe every mother deserves to feel heard, empowered, informed, and genuinely supported as she navigates one of life's most transformative experiences. My approach to birth support is rooted in education, informed decision-making, and compassionate, continuous care. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, considering an epidural, preparing for an induction, or simply unsure of what you want, my role is to support YOUR birth experience without judgment or personal agendas. What makes my practice unique is that I offer a **one-stop shop for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care**. Along with birth doula services, I provide Webster-certified prenatal chiropractic care, postpartum recovery support, and professional lactation consultations. This allows me to build lasting relationships with families and support them through every stage of their journey. I believe birth is not just about bringing a baby into the world. It's about helping a mother feel confident, respected, and supported as she begins a new chapter. I proudly serve families throughout Kennesaw, Marietta, Acworth, Woodstock, Smyrna, and the greater Atlanta area. I'd be honored to be part of your birth team! 🤍

I can’t recommend River of Life enough! Charlotte is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and really took the time to listen to what I was experiencing during pregnancy. I left feeling so much better and am already looking forward to my next visit! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a chiropractor, especially during pregnancy and postpartum.

A spine doctor at the Mayo Clinic suggested I see a Chiropractor who is very well versed in the Graston Technique, for arthritis in my back. Charlotte is a perfect fit. She is VERY knowledgeable about all things body. She's super friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend her!

Frequently asked questions

What makes your doula care different?

You’re getting three providers in one—a birth doula, chiropractor, and IBCLC—but at the heart of my care is you. 🤍 I don’t come into your birth with my own agenda or an idea of how you should do things. I’m here to listen, understand what matters to you, and help you feel informed and confident in your choices. Whether you’re hoping for an unmedicated birth, planning an epidural, or navigating a change in plans, my support remains the same. We make space for your questions, your worries, and your partner’s role, too. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and those first days with your baby. You deserve to feel comfortable being yourself and asking for what you need.

Will a doula replace my partner’s role during birth?

Not at all! Your partner knows and loves you in a way no one else does. I’m here to help them feel confident supporting you, too. We’ll practice comfort measures together and talk about what helps you feel safe, connected, and cared for. During labor, I can offer guidance, reassurance, and an extra set of hands so your partner doesn’t feel the pressure to know everything or do everything alone. There’s room for both of us on your team—and your partner can be as involved as you both feel comfortable with.

Do your doula packages include breastfeeding support?

Yes! Lactation support is included in my Full Birth Support package. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I can help you prepare during pregnancy and support you as you and your baby begin feeding together. You’ll have a familiar person to turn to with questions about latch, positioning, comfort, and how feeding is going. Those early days can feel overwhelming, and you deserve patient, encouraging support while you find your rhythm. Whatever your feeding goals look like, I’m here to listen and help you find an approach that works for you and your family—without pressure or judgment.

How can chiropractic care help me work toward my birth goals?

Feeling comfortable in your body can make a difference as you prepare for birth. As a Webster-certified chiropractor, I offer gentle, individualized care to support your comfort and mobility during pregnancy. We’ll talk about your goals and how chiropractic care may fit into your preparation. 🤍 Chiropractic care doesn’t guarantee a particular birth outcome or turn a breech baby. It can be one part of your support alongside your prenatal care, birth education, and doula support. Whether you’re hoping for an unmedicated birth or keeping your options open, my goal is to help you feel supported in your body and confident in your choices.
