I am deeply passionate about advocating for African ​American women amid the maternal health crisis, ​addressing obstetric violence, birth trauma recovery, and ​the impact of trauma on the birthing experience. After ​completing my full spectrum doula training in 2022, I ​took a break in 2023 to navigate traumatic life-altering ​events that inspired the founding of my doula agency ​Pink Noodle which specializes in trauma-informed doula ​care.
