My name is Delanie and I am a certified breastfeeding specialist. I've been in the Navy for 6 years and in February, I will be a Veteran! The navy was wonderful but now I am ready to do something I truly love and am passionate about; helping families with their breastfeeding and bonding experience. I am a mom of 3 and I also have 2 lady huskies. My children are Jase(9), Lynnon(7), and Heidi(11m). My husband-Alex- is also active duty in the Navy. I've been through a lot in my 30 years of life and my experiences have helped shape me into a compassionate, caring, and understanding human being. In the near future, I will be taking my IBCLC exam to be able to extend my capabilities in the lactation field. All the information on my page will be carefully researched. I cannot wait to help you and the community.

Kalen was invaluable after the birth of our premature twins. We hired her for 6 months of daytime support. She was punctual, dependable, knowledgable, and clearly passionate about babies. She gave us much needed relief and showed us how to help out little ones sleep through the night! Thank you so much, Kalen!

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. After obtaining a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah, I was able to tour as a professional dancer for many years. Upon "retiring" from dance, I returned to graduate school and obtained my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. My passion has always been to understand the inner mechanics of the body. I am a certified Level 5 Romana's Pilates Instructor as well as a MELT (Myofascial Energetic Lengthening Technique) Level 1 practitioner. Through my dance, pilates, and myofascial training, I used pelvic floor strengthening components for many years, but felt l needed to further my knowledge. Following PT school, I underwent extensive training in pelvic floor physical therapy and the treatment of women's health issues. I believe in looking at the body as an entire system rather than piecemeal parts in order to treat the whole person.

I’m a mom to two beautiful girls, a passionate birth doula, and someone who loves showing up for families during one of the most incredible — and life-changing — journeys there is. Years ago, I walked away from a decade-long career as a lawyer and followed my heart straight into birth work. Supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum feels like home to me — it’s where I come alive. Caring for others has always been second nature, but there’s just something about standing beside a family as they meet their baby that fills me up in a way nothing else does. My approach is simple — warm, personal, and rooted in trust. I believe every woman deserves to feel safe, supported, and truly seen as she steps into her power. Birth is raw, real, and different every time — sometimes full of joy and laughter, sometimes messy, emotional, and intense. I’m here for all of it — holding space, offering steady support, and reminding you that you are never in it alone. There’s no script, no one-size-fits-all here. I show up ready to meet you where you are — tuning in, listening, and walking beside you every step of the way. My goal is to make you feel held, informed, and confident, so you can look back on your birth story with pride. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll usually find me soaking up time with my girls — whether that’s cooking up something delicious, getting outside, or cheering way too loudly at the rink for my hockey-playing daughter (my proudest role might just be hockey mom!). Nature is my reset button, and the sauna-my happy place to unwind, reflect, and breathe. I’m also fluent in Russian and feel incredibly honored to support Russian-speaking families here in the Greater Seattle area — though truly, my heart is wide open to families from every background and walk of life. If you’re looking for a doula who’s warm, grounded, and 100% in your corner, I’d love to connect. You deserve support that feels like a soft place to land — and I’d be honored to be that for you.

Hello, my name is Sharlene, a postpartum doula and a naturopathic medical student with a deep passion for supporting new families. My journey into birth work began when I was a senior in high school who had the opportunity to do my rotations at a hospital in Texas. Little did I know at that time that it was passion that had been born from that experience— it planted the seed for my future. Moving to Washington to study at Bastyr was a leap towards making my dreams a reality. Becoming a doula was another beautiful discovery, introduced to me by a professor who not only taught me, but also helped me heal in ways I never expected. Now, as a postpartum doula, I am honored to walk alongside new parents, providing the care, support, and reassurance they need during such a transformative time. I can’t wait to continue growing in this field and, one day, serve my community as a midwife and a prenatal ND, providing holistic care throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

My name is Liza Hameza (Schaefer). I’m a mother of 4, doula, educator, and podcaster who’s spent 15 years studying birth in the fields. What began as a personal story has grown into a lifelong calling. Since then, I’ve supported over 490 births in different birthing settings, guided hundreds of parents through childbirth preparation and the first tender months with their newborns. Alongside modern doula practices, I weave in the wisdom of postpartum traditions I’ve learned in different countries - Belarus, Ukraine, Germany and Cyprus - rituals that honor a mother’s strength and nurture recovery. In addition to my one-on-one work with families, I’m passionate about teaching and mentoring doulas worldwide. I lead specialized trainings, and have been invited to speak at international conferences on birth and parenthood. I also created Oxytocin World, a podcast that brings together midwives, anthropologists, psychologists, researchers, and doulas to share knowledge about birth, parenting, and relationships. I believe birth is more than a medical event - it’s a profound initiation for families, one that deserves care, respect, and continuity. My role is to walk beside you in that journey: grounding, encouraging, and offering both practical tools and emotional support. Outside of doula work, I feel most alive when cooking, practicing yoga, running, hiking in the mountains, or just being with my family. These everyday joys keep me grounded and remind me what truly matters.

From the first time I met Autumn I knew we were going to connect well. She is an amazing listener, patient, kind and so smart…especially in all things birth! Autumn is truly experienced and always had an answer to my questions with a great balance between giving not just the benefits but also risks and alternatives to suggested interventions. Having her in your birth space means having a calm presence, knowledgeable guide and a strong advocate. I can’t recommend her enough!

Hello! I'm Amber, a kind, supportive nanny with over 30 years experience in caring for children from newborns to teenagers. As a night nanny I make sure the whole family gets the sleep they need. Parents have peace of mind knowing their baby will be lovingly and attentively cared for. It is a delight getting to know each family with their unique needs and helping families get through to when baby can sleep through the night. I continue to be proactive with Covid protection by always wearing N95 masks around others. I'm a non-smoker and current on all Covid, flu, and Tdap vaccinations.

Amber has been nannying for us for almost a year now, and she is incredible! She's obviously amazing with the kids, but she also is professional, patient, intuitive, compassionate, and highly experienced. She had an easy time integrating into our household and assisting us with a variety of needs during a complex time in our lives. She takes initiative and is incredibly clear about boundaries and expectations, and effortlessly communicative and easy to talk to. She's the kind of nanny you hire for life: she strives to meet your needs and get to know your family on a level far beyond simple childcare.

I am a Christian and I have a husband and 4 children of my own ranging from age 5 to 13. My mission as your birth doula is to help you have a positive, fulfilling birth experience where you feel supported, encouraged, empowered and heard. My desire is to provide a calm, judgement-free space where you can be YOU and birth how you need to. I believe that you are the expert on your body and emotions. Trina was a wonderful Doula who shared her peaceful presence, extensive knowledge, and practical strategies in our visits leading up to giving birth. This carried over to the day of birth and we could not have done it without her! She was extremely grounding and helpful to my husband- relieving him to eat or just take care of himself, while she continued to take care of and support me. She was a team player and always deferred to us, but made great suggestions when we asked for them. I would highly recommend Trina (and I have recommended her to friends!).
