Hi everyone, I'm Ashli Burney, The Viberant Doula, here to support you and your family during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My passion is to equip families with the tools they need to self advocate and create a rememberable birth experience. I am really big on self-care and I believe that you have to do for yourself, like you do for everyone else. For self-care I like to go for walks, give myself a facial, paint my nails and toes, arts & crafts, and just sit and do nothing while I listen to music.

Ashli was absolutely fantastic during my birth with my second baby. She advocated for me and encouraged me throughout my whole labor and delivery and was very informative during my prenatal and postnatal visits! She made my birth such a beautiful and wonderful experience and my husband and I will be forever grateful for her support! If you need a doula I promise you Ashli is the women for you!

I am a birth and postpartum doula located in the Metro Detroit with a background in public relations. I have over a year of experience with a vaginal birth rate over 80%. I am passionate about birth work as a result of my own experiences with 2 preventable c-sections and a vaginal birth after cesarean (attended by a doula). In addition this work is dear to my hear having witnessed the impact of the advocacy, support and assistance doulas provide especially in the lives of women of color.

You deserve to experience a safe and joyful birthing experience.

Nina, went above and beyond to support me throughout my entire birth journey. From helping me create a birth plan to being there for prenatal visits, emotional support, and even assisting with meals and breastfeeding education after my baby was born, Nina truly is a rockstar. Her kindness, flexibility, and care made such a positive impact on my experience. I had a wonderful and memorable birth journey because of her.

I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional doula for the birth of my twin boys, and I can't recommend her enough. From our first meeting, it was evident that she was highly educated and knowledgeable about childbirth, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout my pregnancy and labor/delivery, she provided unwavering support, offering valuable advice and comfort. Her presence during labor was incredibly reassuring. My doula played a crucial role in helping me achieve the natural birth I desired. If you're looking for a doula who is compassionate, skilled, and committed to your birth experience, look no further. Worth every penny trust me!

Because of my unique blend of training and experience in both counseling and doula work, I am a good choice as a doula for anyone who would appreciate the extra depths I can go to in our prenatal and postpartum visits, as well as during your birth! In addition to the transformative and emotional side of birth, I also have done extended study in spinning babies, what different labor patterns mean, and what positions help in different situations. My toolbox includes all the standard “comfort measures” most doulas use for labor as well as a lot of “outside the box” ways to cope that I have learned from my extensive reading.

Recent review

Morielle was a peaceful and incredibly helpful presence during pregnancy and birth. She was insightful, calm, and knowledgeable. She offered ideas, strategies, exercises, and knowledge that helped me immensely. Her peaceful presence helped me navigate difficulties during pregnancy, such as having a baby in the breech position and undergoing the ECV procedure. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for emotional, physical, and spiritual support during pregnancy and childbirth!

Mom of 6 and grandma of 2 (so far!), I am also a Dona trained and certified post partum doula and night nanny. Having years of experience providing care for newborns and new moms, I became a doula to help families transition their new members home. I still remember the anxiety of being home alone for the first time with a newborn! I would love to meet with you and talk about our services and how we can help your growing family adjust more smoothly... Background check, CPR certification and professional liability insurance required for all our doulas. References available, just ask!
