About me

Hello Birthing Families :) I am currently a Doula Trainee servicing the Detroit area. As I aim to complete my certification, I am providing free prenatal, labor and delivery, and postnatal support to expectant families. My purpose in this journey is to lower the risks of Mother's experiencing birth trauma, lack of support, and feeling unseen and unheard in the hospital room. My role is to provide support and comfort, ensure your questions are answered and needs are met, and overall advocate for what you want from the medical providers who will be aiding you in birthing your baby. You deserve to experience a safe and joyful birthing experience.

Service introduction

I will be offering FREE service to expectant mothers in the Detroit area until July 2024. Service includes prenatal check-up where we'll develop a plan for your ideal birth experience to word toward and discuss with the medical staff.. Labor and Delivery support, where I'll will accompany you during labor to provide support, comfort, pain management techniques, and ensure you are advocated for and properly informed about any decisions and procedures that may take place during labor/delivery.. assistance with the first feeding, which can include assistance with latching if choosing to breastfeed.. and postnatal care, where I will check in on your physical and emotional well-being after having delivered your baby
