About Lauryn

Hello! My name is Lauryn Jaworski. I am Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am passionate about women's health and supporting and uplighting women no matter what, but especially in the most crucial and special time of their lives during and after giving birth. I believe in the cliché saying, "it takes a village", because it really, truly does. I was inspired by the mother of a family I nannied for, when she had given birth to their 3rd child. I got to help her through her postpartum experience and I knew It was something I wanted to explore more and that I wanted to help other women through their postpartum journey. This then led me down the path to getting certified as both a birth doula and a postpartum doula. There is not a lot of support out there for women during birth and postpartum so my goal is to ensure a supportive and seamless birth and postpartum. Whether you want a birth doula or a postpartum doula, I am here to provide you with the care you are looking for.

Daytime Postpartum Services start at $40 an hour
Minimum of 4 hours
Minimum of 4 weeks
Maximum 3 months (unless previously discussed)

What to expect

I offer the below daytime Postpartum services: *Emotional, Physical, and Practical support *Baby needs - assisting with feedings, sleep support, breastfeeding support (positioning, latching), colic support, diaper changes, bathing, swaddling, and soothing techniques. *Informational support - provide information on parenting, childcare, and local resources. *Household help - Assisting with preparing meals, laundry, and light housekeeping. *Sibling Care - Helping other children in the house adjust. *Errands - Grocery shopping, taking older children to school or sports, driving to doctors appointments, etc. *Advocacy
