Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, hospital birth, home birth, or simply looking for a knowledgeable advocate by your side, our goal is to ensure your voice is heard and your birth experience is respected. As a Black-owned practice with a strong commitment to improving maternal and infant health outcomes, we proudly provide culturally responsive care that honors each family’s unique needs, values, and traditions. We accept Medicaid and private pay, making quality doula services more accessible to the communities we serve throughout Metro Detroit. At The Jewels of Nourishment, we believe every family deserves respectful, evidence-based support, unwavering advocacy, and nurturing care from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond.

Rochelle took excellent care of me. Prenatal and postpartum depression settled in and Rochelle was able to provide me resource and encouraging words. During labor she did not allow those doctors to play with me or my baby. My family appreciated her more than she knows.
