About Jaelle

Hey there! My name is Jaelle and I am a Certified Community Health Worker, Certified Community-Based Doula, Certified Holistic Birth Doula, and Certified Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with training in postpartum care, perinatal loss, and abortion support in the Metro Detroit area. Caregiving has been my purpose and passion since I was old enough to do so, working in many capacities, including nannying, mentorship, elder support, elementary school teaching, and more. I became a doula before I had my first child, and after going through childbirth myself, I know even deeper how important birthwork truly is. I strive for inclusivity and work with those of all backgrounds and abilities. I am always looking to learn and provide more education, resources, and support. I am a mother, partner, birthworker, writer, singer, artist, educator, and so much more! I can’t wait to utilize my gifts to support you!

As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, I offer birth planning, nutrition support, comfort, measures, chilbirth education, breastfeeding support, emotional and spiritual support, ways to get your support team involved, resources, and more. As a Night Nanny/Nurse, I offer education, mental and emotional support, newborn support, feeding support, routine assistance, mild household chores related to baby, and more. As a Community Health Worker, I connect my community with resources including health and social services to support a better quality of life and goals. As a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, I support breast/chestfeeding education, goals, and offer resources.
