Kamya Jabari
About me
I’m a certified prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula who loves supporting women and families through one of life's biggest transitions. I start with listening, gentle advocacy, and evidence‑based care, always aiming to create a calm, connected experience. I also enjoy helping families plug into community resources that make the journey feel a little lighter. Outside of birth work, I enjoy movement and mindfulness activities like working out, being in nature, and creative design projects.

I had the pleasure of having Kamya as my doula, and she was amazing. From our first meeting I knew I would be well taken care of. She accommodated her time, she was always available whenever I had questions as well as having helpful material throughout my experience. Kamya has helped me with understanding the stages of labor and what was to be expected. She also gave me tips on how to better communicate with doctors during visits. During labor, I was able to stick with my birth plan with the help of Kamya. I wanted a vaginal birth, and a C section was brought up, due to my dilation not changing. I communicated this with Kamya she came to the hospital right away and with the help of different positions she gave me I was able to successfully give a vaginal birth. As a first time mom, I didn’t know what to expect, and Kamya made my experience one of the best. If you are looking for a doula I would highly recommend Kamya, she was great to me.

So I had a doula for this pregnancy and when I say it was the best decision I ever made I don’t think I’ve would’ve been able to make it Thur my delivery without her. She was very patient kind listen to everything I wanted and made sure it was done and that the doctors and nurses heard me even when I was unable to speak in so much pain close to tears she made sure my wishes were met. She was supportive. and before it got rough she was a total vibe we sang prayed laughed. I told her this was the best experience I had delivering a child while it being the worst labor I experienced she made the difference I’ve done this dance a few times at those times I had my partners at the time and I never had that experience they never brought that energy. Her presents and spirit was exactly what I needed and so thankful to have experienced. If anyone is looking to go that route I highly recommend her. It felt as if I known her forever and we had just met.

I am so greatful to have one of the best Doula’s around. The help I receive on a weekly basis is the reason I am able to get through postpartum without going crazy. I love that she listens, and find ways to help. She’s so good with my babies they love her and my toddler calls her Aunty lol. She’s also very professional!
