I am a DONA certified Birth Doula, as well as a placenta specialist. Before becoming a doula, I received a degree in Culinary Arts and have worked in restaurants and bakeries as a chef. I am continually working toward gaining more knowledge and experience to better help my clients. After having my own daughter and learning so much from my experience, I decided to join the birth world so I can help and support others on their journeys to parenthood. I am able to support clients in whichever space they choose for their birth, whether it is a hospital, birth center or their own home. I have been providing birthing support, assistance, and care since 2013 nationally across the United States with a specialty in birth/miscarriage/abortion aftercare. I’m a mom of two amazing children, and after my experiences trying-to-conceive and giving birth to my first child, I felt an incredible pull to birth work. Helping people learn about all their options in birth and how to feel empowered in their decisions are some of my greatest passions! I work with parents throughout their journeys, from trying-to-conceive all the way to postpartum! Working with families through their pregnancies, and helping them embrace the new phase of life after birth, brings me much joy and satisfaction. I have a creative side, with a passion for photography. I also have a love for travel and exploring the outdoors. My experiences with my boys have made me attune to the struggles one can endure in pregnancy, birth, and the post-partum period. I am a researcher at heart and am extremely resourceful.
