My name is Renee and I am a dedicated professional with a diverse background in early childhood education and healthcare. As a certified postpartum doula, medical assistant, and soon-to-be registered behavior technician, I bring a comprehensive skill set to my work. After six years teaching preschool, I transitioned into the medical field during the pandemic. Currently, I work in a family medicine/OBGYN department, focusing on supporting families in a smooth, healthy transition into parenthood. My goal is to provide compassionate, expert care to mothers, fathers, and families.

With over seven years of experience caring for babies and children as a caregiver, I have always felt called to nurture, support, and uplift families during life's most tender moments. Ever since stepping foot in the postpartum care world, I found my passion and truly fell in love. As a doula, I offer gentle, hands-on support to new mothers and their families during the sacred postpartum period. She’s a local mom of 4 with a caretaking background, who’s great at offering support to families both physically and emotionally along their journey from pregnancy, birth and into postpartum. I became a birth and postpartum doula after completing my training through Birthing Project USA in 2020. I began my doula business to address and help circumvent the racial disparities African American women and other women of color face in the medical industry. I loves educating all mothers to inspire positive prenatal experiences and to better equip them for labor, delivery and postpartum. It brings me joy to support moms during such a special and intimate time. I love encouraging them as they learn and grow more confident on their journey to childbirth.
