Luiza was our postpartum doula for a total of eight weeks, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience with her.
From our very first phone conversation, she immediately put so many of the worries my husband and I had at ease. We had a million questions as first-time parents, and by the end of that call, we both knew we had found our doula.
We were even more impressed when we met her in person for our prenatal visit. She is incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out to us was how well she teaches. She walked us through newborn care, feeding, sleep, and so many things we hadn't even thought to ask about. We left feeling so much more prepared and confident for our son's arrival.
Over those weeks, she helped us establish a good feeding schedule, encouraged healthy sleep habits, helped us create a routine, and taught us so much about our baby along the way. She also helped us with all of the little things that no one really prepares you for — organizing our bottle washing area, bath-time tricks, setting up the nursery in a way that actually made sense, and finding routines that made our everyday life with a newborn so much easier. Her support with sleep shaping was especially helpful.
By the end of our time together, we genuinely did not want her to leave. Luiza became someone we trusted completely and someone we now hold very dear to our hearts.

Luiza was truly a gift to our family. From the very beginning (prenantal visit she taught us the position for breastfeeding), her warmth and professionalism put us completely at ease. She was so gentle and nice to educate us. Honestly we were too busy to prepare everything ready before baby born, but Luiza was so nice to accomodate and kindly help us settle down.
Once our little one was here, Luiza's presence in our home was nothing short of transformative. She has an incredible ability to read the room — knowing when to step in, when to guide, and when to simply reassure us that we were doing a great job. She never judged or pressured us; instead, she met us exactly where we were and helped us understand what may be the best thing to do at that moment.
Her knowledge is impressive and always rooted in evidence-based practices. Whether it was navigating the exhaustion of cluster feeding, understanding reflux, Luiza always had clear, calm explanations that turned anxiety into confidence. The gentle routine she helped us establish brought so much peace and predictability to our days. We rarely could hear baby cry at night with Luiza and we believe it was mostly due to her patience and prompt reaction to the sign.
But what sets Luiza apart goes beyond expertise. It's her heart. She genuinely cares — not just about the baby, but about us, the family dynamic, and the emotional well-being of everyone in the home. With her there, we felt safe enough to rest, to ask questions without hesitation, and to trust that everything would be okay.

Luiza was phenomenal! It was definitely the best decision to hire her as our night doula. She was very professional, reliable and communicative. Our son arrived early and she was flexible with her schedule and our needs. She helped out around the house with laundry, washing bottles/ pumps and some snack prep. I had trouble breast feeding and she spent a couple visits helping me and it improved my experience. It was great to sleep soundly and know our newborn was in good hands. She also helped with some initial sleep training and at 3 months he is sleeping through the night nearly each day. Overall a great experience and we will definitely use her again!

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Luiza as our night doula during our newborn’s first few weeks. I still remember the first night we were back from the hospital. We were so nervous with our hungry and fussy baby who didn’t want to latch. She showed up, helped us soothe the baby, helped me set up the breast pump, and fed the colostrum to the baby. When I saw our baby being content and happy, I knew we could depend on Luiza.
She is highly professional, incredibly organized, and deeply knowledgeable. What also sets her apart is how much she genuinely loves babies. She doesn’t treat this as just a job—she truly cares. She even did a prenatal visit with us to get familiar with our home and gave us hands-on training. Later when the doctor suggested we do triple feeding, she patiently supported us, made yummy lactation oat bites, gave us feeding tips, and encouraged us when we were in doubt. Our baby gained good weight and caught up in percentile within the first month, and I want to thank her for all the support.
Within the time with our family, she not only provided excellent hands-on care, but also showcased systematic baby caring approaches and effectively educated us on it. In addition to performing excellently during her shifts, she also put together a thoughtful and customized plan for our baby’s routine that helps us care for the baby continuously after her contract. These all gave us confidence as new parents and we really appreciate them.
With Luiza, we knew that our baby was in the best hands. She became part of our lives and we missed her just days after the contract ended. Even now, we feel that if we ever have questions or concerns about our baby, she is someone we can always turn to. We really appreciate her help and highly recommend her to all parents.
