Hi, my name is Abby Dove. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding counselor serving women primarily in and around Hamilton county, Muncie and Indianapolis, IN. As a birth worker, I aim to build confident, well-informed mothers and partners through advocacy, evidence-based information, and individualized care. I encourage every woman to be fully surrendered to her birth and postpartum experience while feeling held, well-loved, and confident in her choices as a woman and a mother.

Service introduction

I offer a prenatal class for all my birth clients which focuses on relaxation, evidence based informed choice and equipping your partner and/or other birth support to physically and mentally support you during labor. In labor I provide information, encouragement and hands on care. After birth I focus on extended postpartum support staying on-call for 2 weeks postpartum so you have support whenever you need it, offer a home visit and weekly phone calls through 6 weeks postpartum. I also offer in home care as a postpartum doula including general cleaning, breastfeeding support, help transitioning older children, meal planning and prep, night routines, etc.
