Ali was very easy to talk to and had answers for all of my questions. She figured out our problem right away and had many suggestions for what to do to help fix it.

My husband I both enjoyed working with Ali. We had a whirlwind of obstacles to accomplish with our little guy and she was so supportive. She realized he still had a posterior tongue after his anterior tie got clipped. She referred us to a specialist for a second opinion and went there with us. He did in fact have a posterior tie and got it lasered. He started latching way better right away and transferring milk from breast so much better. We are seeing huge improvements in his weighted feeds and weight gain. She helped us with post-op visits to make sure we were stretching his tongue correctly. We felt like she saw our journey from start to finish! She was easy to reach when we needed her. She was able to see us with ease and had great flexibility. We look forward to working with her in the future and for future pregnancies.

Breastfeeding seems like a part of motherhood that should be innate. I had no idea the various challenges that can arise. Ali has played an integral role in my journey in various capacities. I first met her when I took her breastfeeding class at Colorado Baby, and again, at her bottle-feeding class. I then was gifted a home visit during postpartum and joined her every week at her support group for several months. She also is part of the GJ Birth Collective, having spoken at a few events, along with running a Facebook support group. It seems as though any new or soon-to-be mom will (or should) be graced with her presence, knowledge, and unbiased support at least once during their own journey. The level of professionalism Ali upholds while managing such delicate moments is truly commendable. Breastfeeding should not be hard and, dare I say, enjoyable. Ali was amazing! She came to my house and noticed different symptoms that pointed to tongue tie as the root of our lactation concerns. Once we had the release done, she supported us with our next steps as our daughter had to change old habits and form new ones!

Oh my goodness I am so grateful for Ali!!! Breastfeeding had become extremely painful for me, even with a good latch. I had already seen 2 other lactation consultants that were recommended by my midwife, and things were only getting worse. The owner of Colorado Baby recommended I give Ali a call and I’m so thankful I did. She came to us and worked around our schedule, she frequently checked in to see our progress, and sent us a lot of articles to help us out. Although my situation was a little different than the norm, a tiny baby, paired with Raynauds syndrome, but Ali knew the answers, and what she didn’t know, she went the extra mile and found out the answers.
