Hi there! I'm Ali, and I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and owner of Valley Lactation in western Colorado. Your feeding goals are my goals. I am passionate about providing support that goes above and beyond. No one needs a cheerleader, or to be told to "just keep trying". If you find yourself googling “lactation support near me” in the middle of the night with your newborn, just do yourself a favor and schedule the appointment with Valley Lactation. I’m a second time mom who breastfed my first for a year and an half, and I have still benefited immensely from the home visit service Ali provides. So amazing to work on breastfeeding without leaving the house, in the comfort of my own rocking chair. Ali is warm and professional and provides wonderful support for whatever your goals are. I’m so grateful to have found her services; such a game changer. And bonus! She is fully covered by my insurance.

Ali has been a lifesaver for us! We would not have gotten to where we are in our breastfeeding journey without her. She’s so compassionate and thoughtful and very knowledgeable. She goes out of her way to make sure you are helped exactly how you need. We can’t thank her enough!

After our son's posterior tongue tie release, we knew continued support was crucial. We specifically sought out Ali because of her extensive experience with babies who'd undergone this procedure. Her understanding of the healing process and how to optimize the latch with newfound tongue mobility was invaluable. We also appreciated Ali’s collaborative approach. She works closely with Dr. Timmie Barc, a pediatric chiropractor, which we believe is essential for babies who have had releases. This holistic approach gave us immense confidence. Thanks to Ali’s guidance and expertise, breastfeeding has become a much more positive experience for both me and our baby. Her knowledge in the field is truly superior. We can't recommend Ali highly enough to any new parents looking for breastfeeding support, especially those whose babies have suspected tongue tie or a recent release.

My husband I both enjoyed working with Ali. We had a whirlwind of obstacles to accomplish with our little guy and she was so supportive. She realized he still had a posterior tongue after his anterior tie got clipped. She referred us to a specialist for a second opinion and went there with us. He did in fact have a posterior tie and got it lasered. He started latching way better right away and transferring milk from breast so much better. We are seeing huge improvements in his weighted feeds and weight gain. She helped us with post-op visits to make sure we were stretching his tongue correctly. We felt like she saw our journey from start to finish! She was easy to reach when we needed her. She was able to see us with ease and had great flexibility. We look forward to working with her in the future and for future pregnancies.
