Hello! My name is Jessica—also known as Jess or Jessie—a birth doula proudly supporting families across Temecula and San Diego. My journey into birth work has been deeply personal, as I became a mother at seventeen and just recently welcomed a new baby to my family last summer. Born and raised in southern Illinois and married to my wife who grew up in Israel, I blend Midwestern warmth with global perspective in every birth I attend. Having experienced motherhood as a teenager and supporting my wife through her cesarean journey, I understand firsthand the many ways birth can unfold. My mission is to empower and uplift women of all ages—whether they choose home birth, a birth center, or a hospital setting—and to honor every birth story with compassion, respect, and celebration. I'm Brazilian, and I'm a mom of two girls. My cultural Background and my daughter's birth experiences are deeply connected to my decision to become a doula. Growing up, I used to listen to my mother's birth stories, which helped me see childbirth as a grand and beautiful event. For me, the idea of giving birth was always sacred - but it was through the births of my two daughters that I truly understood what it means to give birth. After my second birth, I knew I wanted to become the kind of support person who had been essential to me during my own experience. In 2021 I began walking the path to become a Doula.

Hi there! My name is Chloe, I am a mama to one and I am very passionate about birth work. I love being able to help support families on their journey to becoming parents. Birth is so special, and transformative, I feel truly honored when I am invited to help support families in their sacred space.

Yose is a Holistic Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and Birthrights advocate in Orange County, California. Her passion for Birth Work began in 2020 when she got pregnant with her daughter Kailani. During pregnancy she prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually for labor, but did not prepare for the postpartum period. With no family or support around made her 4th trimester a very difficult time for her and her partner. Yose completed her Birth Worker training with Bebo Mia Inc when her daughter was only 3 months old. After the training she realized that she wanted to take a more ancestral approach in birth work, and began learning about Mexican Birth and Postpartum Traditions. She Is constantly growing and learning! As your Doula Yose will walk with you through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

With a focus on natural healing, personalized care, and emotional support, Sitra empowers individuals through pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and breastfeeding. Specializing in VBAC, breastfeeding support, and holistic health practices, Sitra helps clients navigate their birth and parenting journeys with confidence, balance, and knowledge.

Nicolle Kasch is a Hypnobirthing practitioner, certified hypnotherapist, fertility & birth doula, and all around impassioned nerd surrounding topics such as fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, and human rights. Since 2014 she has been helping families feel more informed, confident and empowered to achieve their goals as they welcome a new little soul into their lives. Nicolle is also a mother to two sweet and energetic boys, whose births opened the gateway to her passion for the perinatal period and find new ways to delight and challenge her daily!

I am a birth doula and childbirth mentor/educator located in Orange County, CA. The primary focus of my work is to improve birth outcomes for marginalized communities and to reduce (ideally eradicate) birth trauma. My training is mostly through an organization called Birthing From Within and I highly recommend their reading materials for individuals at any stage, from pre-conception to postpartum. My philosophy is that you, the pregnant person, have all of the wisdom and ability within you and we can work together to awaken that within you.

Hello everyone my name is Tasha Nelson and I am a Christian doula! I have been working as a newborn care specialist since 2011. I fell in love with the opportunity to support families during one of the most extraordinary but exhausting times in their lives. Working as a newborn care specialist allows me the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families. I enjoy supporting new parents during a crucial life stage and find immense fulfillment in positively impacting the well-being of both the baby and the family through specialized care, including feeding, sleep routines, and overall development guidance during the early months of life. I have worked with many infants, including premature infants and twins. I have supported mothers with breastfeeding, from milk storage, supply issues, latching problems, and more. I have also helped families who want to use formulas by providing my knowledge and support with brands and looking out for milk intolerances and digestion issues. I am knowledgeable about colicky infants, tongue ties, reflexes, cradle caps, oxygen machines, and more. I love helping families set up their nurseries to help create a safe sleep environment conducive to fostering healthy sleep habits from night one. I am open to helping families in any way I can, including bottle washing, sanitizing, and keeping the infant areas clean and organized. I am comfortable working with hands-on parents and completely taking over with the infant, doing whatever I can to offer the most support. I have worked with many different families, and I love to be able to come in and uniquely tailor my support to each family, background, beliefs, and lifestyle. I can be an educator and friend while providing guidance and support to help families feel more confident in their abilities and skills. Being able to do this job is my passion, and I feel blessed.

Hi, I’m Kortney! Growing up, I was afraid of birth. When I became pregnant with my first, birth became inevitable. Navigating pregnancy and birth preparation was overwhelming and never ending. I took a childbirth class and it was like have a tour guide to help me navigate on my journey. I became passionate about doing this for others as well. Luminary Birth provides comprehensive childbirth education to shine a light on your power from within and from those who came before you. I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. She supports folks with energy work such as limpias (cleansings) for themselves or a space and healing rituales (rituals for healing).Traditional birth ceremonies and using traditional healing methods to help heal and support people through their journeys. Jas is also a Reiki practitioner, a student of traditional midwifery learning from partera Mirna Amaya in Mexico,and other Parteras from Latinoamerica. They are a certified lactation educator and trauma informed practitioner.
