My name is Katherine, and I support and care for babies and families during the vital first few months after baby comes home. I practice a non-judgmental and caring approach to supporting mother and baby, while providing parents with advice when asked, and fact-based information on postpartum care. I became a doula as I saw a need to support parents who go home with a new baby with no help or knowledge on how to navigate the first 3 months. I am passionate about Post Partum care and would love to hear from you. I am trained with Health Connect One as a full spectrum Doula, and will support your journey with calm, compassionate care every step of the way.

Hi there, my name is Tammy Swetter and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula, CPST & a nurse. My approach is rooted in genuine care & support. I believe that every family deserves to feel supported, nurtured, and confident during their postpartum experience. My goal is to provide realistic, hands-on help that meets the unique needs of each family, whether that’s guiding you through infant care, creating space for you to take a long, rejuvenating shower or get some much needed restorative sleep, or simply listening to your concerns without judgment. With my background, I understand the emotional & physical shifts that come with bringing a new baby home, and I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable expressing your needs and receiving the support you deserve. My philosophy centers around empowering parents to trust their instincts while equipping them with practical tools and resources. I see myself not just as an extra set of hands, but as a steady source of reassurance & encouragement as you navigate these early weeks. From personalized guidance to help you feel more confident in your new role, to creating moments of rest & recovery, I’m here to support your entire family in adjusting & thriving…not just surviving. You deserve a better postpartum experience!

Tammy is the best member you could ever add to your postpartum team. She’s worth every single penny. We first met online, due to her strong supportive presence on local Facebook community groups. She’s a connector and positive networker. I was new to the area in my 3rd trimester and she made a huge impression on me. I requested a free consultation over the phone due to a wonderful job presenting itself at 4 weeks postpartum. I wanted to see what she thought. She’s a veteran mother herself for over a decade now and her experience and advice helped me not worry should I choose to take the job. We then discussed her coming on as a team member… while I was away for said job! Her sensitive and confident approach of helping my newborn daughter, my toddler daughter, my husband, and my sister (who came in to help), made myself feel more confident to leave for the dream job. Even weeks leading up to baby girl’s arrival, we strategized breastmilk calculations and anticipated all outcomes of birth with positive affirmations. And when the time came for me to go away for 8 days, I never worried for a second. My newborn and my entire family were in wonderful hands. I even came home to a neater, cleaner home! Hire Tammy. She’s now a forever friend, too.

Hello, I am Carmen Victoria, a local Doula in South Jersey. Originally from Havana, Cuba, but somewhere along the way ended up in Kingston, Jamaica. Over time, my education and family ended up in Florida. I came to Tallahassee and graduated twice from Florida A&M University, most recently with my Master of Public Health. My field of study and passion is Maternal and Infant Health. In 2022, I took a leap of faith and completed the Doula Workshop Training from Capital City Doula. I am proud to say I reside in Tallahassee with my beautiful family. I hope to continue to service the community and help all mothers feel comfortable and confident with their birth process.
