I have a background/education in healthcare as a medical assistant and a registered behavioral therapist, and I have had the chance to incorporate my focus and passion in women's health by becoming a certified doula through Childbirth International. My career has always been focused on helping the lives of others. Mothers, babies, children, you name it! I thrive on seeing positive results from my clients. I have always ensured a safe space to where everyone feels seen, heard, and that their feelings are valued and protected. As parents, we aren’t expected to know have it all figured out right away—but with education and support we can build a family that flourishes, not falters. Angela Orenczak is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Lactation Consultant (RLC), Certified Postpartum Doula (CPD), Baby Steps Childbirth Educator (CBE), Retired La Leche League Leader (LLLL), and an experienced nursing mother of 5. Angela is a graduate of The Florida State University with her bachelor's degree in Information Studies. She passed the IBLCE exam and became an IBCLC in 2011. She recertified in 2021! Angela was an avid La Leche League Leader providing support through meetings, phone support and home visits from 2007 until 2021. IBCLC is the highest credential for a health care professional providing clinical lactation care. IBCLCs are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Inc. (IBLCE). Angela is certified through Childbirth International as a Certified Postpartum Doula (CPD). She is eager to support families in their early postpartum phases of life - mothering the mother. Angela is so excited to be a part of the Baby Steps Childbirth Education family! She took her Baby Steps Educator Training in September 2016 and offers group and private classes using the awesome Baby Steps Curriculum.
