Hello, I’m really wanting to give birth in the comfort of my own home preferably a water birth. I would prefer not to lie on my back and don’t want to go to the Boston give birth unless absolutely necessary. Id like to delay cord clamping or cutting till the cord is completely white and has no pulse. Preferably unmediated. Immediate skin to skin and I do plan to breastfeed. My boyfriend ( father of child) will be present, my sister ( to capture the moment) and possibly my mom will be present. I have Medicaid and am trying to find a midwife that excepts Medicaid.

My sister lives in Dalhart, TX, and has a newborn. She is experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety and struggling with getting sleep in between cluster feeding. She is looking for someone who can be trusted to care for the infant at night in between feedings. She has two other children (8 and 5) and could also use general daytime support so she can test and take care of her self. She struggles with trusting others with her babies so the more certification, references, and experience the better. I am not sure of her budget.

Hello! I am looking for a doula to assist me in my birth. I am giving birth in Childress at the Hospital because there is not a birthing center that is very close to me. The hospital is an hour away from me, but I would love to labor at home as long as possible. I want support when laboring at home and at the hospital as well! I don't know how far you are willing to travel or if you know of a doula in the Childress area--as it has been really hard to find one near me! Thank you.

I will be giving birth at the hospital. During labor I want to avoid being on my back if possible and am planning on not getting an epidural. We do not have a set budget as of right now because we want to see what is covered by our insurance (Tricare).

I plan on a c-section scheduled at a hospital. My estimated budget is $500 but when I looked into cost of having a doula during my last pregnancy it was going to cost me $1500 she was willing to work with me for $1000 but in the end I still couldn’t afford her services.
