How long does it take for babies to sleep through the night

Babies sleep through the night usually at 12 weeks. However, Pediatricians for the most part will approve newborn to begin 4 hour feed/sleep NIGHTIME scheduling when the newborn is taking enough during a feed, has regained birth weight and continues to gain the required weight gain. This can be stretched out into longer sleep/ feed intervals as the baby grows and increases his/her intakeuntil the baby is ready to sleep throughout the night.
