I am a first-time mom expecting to deliver at UT Southwestern Hospital in Dallas. I have Cigna insurance and am looking for a compassionate, experienced birth doula who can provide prenatal education, continuous labor support, and postpartum guidance. I would like someone who is calm, knowledgeable, and advocates for informed decision-making while respecting my birth preferences. This is my first baby, so having emotional support, comfort measures during labor, and breastfeeding support after delivery are important to me. Experience working with first-time mothers is preferred.

I’m planning to give birth in a hospital in the Las Colinas area, Irving TX. My current budget is between $1000-$1500, I’m looking for early labor support, sibling support during labor, and belly binding.

My birthing center requires to hire a doula for first timers, not sure how expensive that is, someone on the holistic side that understands how we want to parent and advocate for us.

I currently have an OBGYN that does accept my medicaid. I had a c section with my daughter in 2022, and I really want to try for a vaginal birth. My OBGYN and I are not connecting as I would like and I did more research and feel better finding a mid wife or doula that I can connect with and listen to my wants and needs. I appreciate it! I plan on giving birth in a hospital setting. have medicaid health insurance. I believe its a cooks childrens plan but I would need to double check.

Plan to give birth at fort worth birthing and wellness center. Our estimated budget is very low which is why i am looking for one covered by medicaid. Birth plan i want to be as unmedicated as possible, focusing on pain management techniques that are not medicated. I have Texas star medicaid but have not picked a plan yet. I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. Fort Worth - Baylor Scott. I am considered a high risk pregnancy due to chronic pain and a recent back surgery. I dont have a birth plan at this time. Im seeking support and advice on ways to cope with my pain, while navigating the pregnancy.
