We are interested in doula assistance during labor and postpartum doula care as well. We may also be interested in overnight care but aren’t certain yet. I will be giving birth at Weill Cornell Alexandra Cohen hospital in NYC with my husband, Isaac, by my side. My OBGYN in Dr. Lauren Ruggiero. I am planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural and this is my first pregnancy! Estimated budget depends on extent of care we end up going with, but we’ll say $10,000.

No prior authorization is required. They didn't call it a doula but they called it a PP home health care. They couldn't give me a list of eligible providers, I kept getting either a list of home health care providers (which included nursing homes or Lenox Hill Radiology) or OBGYNs.
