I will be giving birth at Weill Cornell Alexandra Cohen hospital in NYC with my husband, Isaac, by my side. My OBGYN in Dr. Lauren Ruggiero. I am planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural and this is my first pregnancy! Estimated budget depends on extent of care we end up going with, but we’ll say $10,000.

I do not want the baby vaccinated. But the vitamin K shot would be fine considering I’d like for him to be circumcised. • I would like for the baby to stay in the room with me.

Hi - I spoke with my insurance Cigna and they confirmed I have 60 days per calendar year with 16 hours per day during this time for a postpartum home health care for me and my newborn. No prior authorization is required. They didn't call it a doula but they called it a PP home health care. They couldn't give me a list of eligible providers, I kept getting either a list of home health care providers (which included nursing homes or Lenox Hill Radiology) or OBGYNs. I would like to connect and discuss how we can work together.
