Planning to give birth at home with woven community midwives. We have Blue Cross Blue Shield Athena. We are taking a birth class at Caring in Color soon. I truly believe that birth is a natural process, and I would love to give birth as naturally as possible. This will be my first birth.
1. Umass memorial Worcester 2. Unsure but under $1500 would be ideal 3. Don't have a birth plan yet, hoping a doula can help with one
The plan is to give birth at Brigham and Women's Hospital unmedicated as my mom had complications from an epidural I have endometriosis so I have a pretty high pain tolerance right now we have a pretty open budget
I’d love to have a doula for coaching purposes as I’d like to have a natural unmedicated birth this time around, I plan to give birth at st Luke’s in New Bedford, I have masshealth for insurance and wasn’t sure if they cover doula care. I’d like to labor at home as much as possible before going to hospital and I’d like the freedom to move around while laboring, my first time I was induced and had an epidural so I wasn’t able to move at all and had a decently long labor so I’d like to try something different this time
-Plan to give birth at Brigham and Womens Hospital. -Natural Birth, avoid intervention if not medically needed, delayed cord clamping. -Avoid unnecessary vaccination
Me and my girlfriend are expecting in August and would love to have a home birth and also be educated during the process to prepare ourselves as much as possible for our daughter
Plan to give birth at Winchester Hospital. Having my first baby and hoping to have a low-intervention vaginal birth. I'm still considering/learning about specific plan details. I'm more nervous about feeling rushed or pressured by hospital staff than I am nervous about birth itself, and I'm looking for someone to advocate for and support the experience I want to have within a hospital setting.
Currently expecting twin girls and striving for a natural birth and need an advocate in the room for me other than my husband. I will deliver at Brigham and women’s hospital. In addition to the birth doula we are focused on securing overnight care most importantly, and will also be evaluating some daytime help. Many thanks.
-Hospital -Should be covered by insurance but out of pocket 1000-2000 -We are pregnant with twins so likely induced vaginal or planned C-section.

I plan on giving birth at Umass Belmont. Planning on going through my insurance. I don't have a birth plan. I need someone to advocate for me during birth. My insurance is anthem blue cross blue shield
This is my first pregnancy, and because I am naturally a very anxious person, it is especially important to me to have a trusted support person in the delivery room who can help advocate for me. I want to ensure that my wishes are clearly communicated and respected throughout labor and delivery, as I may feel overwhelmed in the moment. Having someone act as my voice will help me feel more comfortable, supported, and confident, and will also help ensure that neither I nor my family feel overlooked during this experience. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial and am covered by Mass General Brigham insurance, and I want to take proactive steps to make sure my care team understands and honors my needs.
I am early on in navigating my first pregnancy. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial in Worcester, but I live in Charlton, MA. I am interested in having a birth doula and ideally the same candidate to help when we transition to home life for a few hours. I’m interested in having an unmediated birth, however I am aware that reality might have a different thought. Movement is a necessity for me. I have a wonderful partner, and would like to complement my support team with someone who can help me transition through labor stages as well as navigate the relationship between doctors/nurses.

Listed below are my birth preferences; I understand that final decisions about my care will be discussed and agreed upon in the birthing room with my well-being and the safe delivery of my baby as the most important considerations. Birth Preferences Early labor and Preparation: ● Spontaneous labor and vaginal delivery ● Limited cervical checks ● No membrane sweep ● No IV ● No Induction Labor: ● No medications, pitocin, epidural, laughing gas, etc. ● No IV ● Use of electronic fetal monitor externally only for an initial 20 minute strip; after that, I would prefer intermittent Doppler monitoring ● Want to move freely, walk around, and labor in preferred positions ● Would like light foods and clear liquids, taken orally ● Little to no lights in the room ● Only my husband, mother, and doula in the room Delivery: ● Vaginal Delivery, No IV ● Labor position: whatever feels most comfortable at the time. No laying on my back. ● No episiotomy, No use of forceps ● I’ll push when I feel the urge ● Immediate skin to skin contact with blanket over mom and baby ● No rubbing the baby (unless obvious medical attention is necessary) ● Delayed cord clamping (Until cord stops pulsating) ● Mom or Dad will cut the cord ● 1+ Golden hour of baby with mother ● Weight + Measurements taken only after 1 hour Postpartum: ● Baby remains in the room with mom and dad throughout entire hospital stay ● Establish breastfeeding, no formula ● No bath for baby ● Leave hospital within 12 hours if baby + mom are healthy ● No vitamin K, No vaccines.
