I am looking for a doula to accompany me during labor in a hospital setting and to support both me and my partner through decision-making. Since we will not know in advance which doctor will deliver the baby, we would value having a familiar and trusted presence in the room—someone with whom we have already established a relationship. I am seeking guidance in creating a safe and thoughtful birth plan. It is important to me that the doula is open to medical interventions when necessary and can help me make informed, wise decisions throughout the process. I am also looking for postpartum support, including guidance on newborn sleep and lactation. Ideally, the doula would have at least four years of experience.

My results were positive for ketones, nitrite, and bacteria, and I also have Hashimoto's, which has now progressed to hypothyroidism during pregnancy. I don't speak English, but I understand it somewhat, and today, with technology, we also have translators to help us communicate. Note: My husband is American, but he doesn't speak any Portuguese. Anyway, I don't understand how the hospital system works, and I'm having trouble getting adequate prenatal care and planning for the birth, including the location, doctor, midwife, and especially a doula. Can you help me? According to them, the birth is scheduled for March 11th or 12th, 2026. They calculated the date based on my last period, which was June 10th. However, I only had sex with my husband on June 21st, the date of our religious wedding, and before that, we had never had intimate contact. 2nd pregnancy, looking for more support during the birth and potential help with breast feeding. My biggest support during birth will not be able to be there this time. I exclusive pumped with my 1st and would like to actually put more of an effort into trying to directly breastfeed this time. only thing in my birth plan is to try to go unmedicated again. i really enjoyed laboring in the tub with my 1st but would like to really try for switching up position when pushing.
