I need a Catholic doula who understands the doctrine so she can help me with prayers and my needs during labor. I plan to give birth in a hospital, but I don't know which one yet. Importantly, I don't know anything about the United States. I've only lived here for five months and am entering my third month of pregnancy. I also don't speak English fluently, but I understand the language well and sometimes I prefer a translator for now so I don't mistranslate when the subject is more serious. My husband is American and doesn't speak any Portuguese. (Insecurity, fear, stress, and sadness are feelings that are relentless for me right now.) I have mass health and hoping I can find a doula that takes mass health. I hope to have a vaginal birth, unmedicated, I would like to be able to refuse unnecessary vaccines and medicines needed for baby. I want to fully breastfeed my baby, if baby needs to go anywhere dad or someone I agree on will go with baby.
