I plan to give birth at Advocate Sherman in Elgin IL. I don’t have an exact budget, an I would just like someone aside from my husband who is able to speak up for me and assist me with laboring the way I want to. I also have major anxiety about postpartum because I suffered the loss of my first born at a month old.
This is my first pregnancy, I’m 37 years old, I need help with postpartum support.
We’re looking for a reliable person to help with our infant starting on October 27, 2025 (date is flexible). This position requires someone who has a valid driver's license and a vehicle for outings. Experience with multiple children is a must. The job involves feeding, changing, and engaging our child in age-appropriate activities during the weekday daytime. We want someone who can create a safe, joyful environment for our little one. If you are enthusiastic and responsible, we’d love to hear from you!
I am currently planning to give birth at cdh. I’m not sure what an appropriate budget for a doula is so I guess I’m interested in rates. I’d hope to not go over a thousand dollars but like I said I don’t know what is appropriate. I’d like to give birth with the least amount of interventions possible. I will be doing a vbac labor, my first baby will be 2 and 2 months at the date of the delivery and was a cesarían because she was breech presenting.
Looking for a postpartum doula who can show and give tips how to care properly for a newborn. Want to better understand the baby’s needs and overcome anxiety of staying alone with baby
1) Central DuPage HospitaL 2) I would like to spend no more than $1,000 for a birth doula. May consider other services as well 3) VBAC, avoid c-section (very traumatic), open to all pain relief options but want epidural to be the last resort, open to medical interventions if other suggestions (walking, taking a shower, peanut ball, or different laboring positions) don't work
I would like a doula who can help educate me on all my options around birth and how to best prepare for that. I'd also like them to be present when I'm giving birth, and potentially post partum care. I'm giving birth at Central Dupage Hospital. I learned today that my insurance plan covers doulas that are in-network, so ideally they would be in-network with BCBSIL. I don't know my birth plan, I would like help figuring that out.
Hi! This is my first pregnancy and delivery. I am planning to give birth at Advent Health’s UChicago at Hinsdale. I was looking for doula services that would be covered by my Medicaid’s BCBS Community health insurance. My hope is to have a vaginal delivery. I believe a doula can be my source of the much needed guidance, assistance, and strength I’ll require experiencing labor and delivery for the first time. I really look forward to matching with a sweet, supportive, and knowledgeable doula that can calm my nerves and make my birthing experience much better. Thank you!!
Hi! I wanted to share a little about the support I’m hoping for during labor. I’d really like to try for an unmedicated birth if possible, so having help with breathing, positioning, and counter pressure during contractions would mean a lot. My priorities are being able to move freely, delivering in the position I choose, delayed cord clamping, and keeping interventions minimal if everything is safe. I’d also love a calm, dark, peaceful environment. My pregnancy has IUGR, so there’s a chance I may need to deliver earlier than expected. I’m hoping for someone who can support me emotionally, help advocate for me if needed, and also guide my partner on how he can best support me during labor. I’m planning to use Medicaid/Blue Cross Community if possible, and I also wanted to ask if it would be possible to be matched with a Caucasian doula for my own comfort. Thank you! 🤍

Looking for doula covered by Blue cross blue shield in Illinois. Delivering at northwestern Delnor Hospital in Geneva IL.
I'm 35 and am having a low-risk pregnancy, my first child. I would love a doula to help advocate for me, in addition to my partner, and help with emotional support as I navigate this new experience. 1. I plan to give birth at a hospital near Downers Grove (we still need to tour hospitals) 2. No set budget/flexible 3. Early labor at home, low dose epidural at hospital, have a healthy baby, and accept intervention as needed. I'm an epidemiologist and will inform my decisions based on best available data.
I plan to give birth in a hospital. I want to do it without an epidural. Im open to other medicinal interventions and definitely non medicinal interventions. I want my husband to be there and be my support. I want calming environment and God centered motivation. I have no idea what our budget is. We dont have a lot of money so cheaper is better but we won't necessarily cut must have things.
I'm 26 years old and a first-time mom, feeling a bit overwhelmed since I don't have experience with motherhood. I'm looking for support from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and hoping to find a free doula to assist me with my newborn during my postpartum period, as I don't work and can't afford extra help. My goal is to have a natural vaginal birth without using an epidural. I have a Meridian Health plan. Looking for a postpartum doula to help after the baby is born for just 2-3 hours.
I plan on giving birth in the hospital, I want to avoid C-section if possible. Looking for help in creating a birth plan and someone to advocate with my partner and I during delivery. Interested in delayed cord cutting immediate skin to skin contact. Currently looking for someone who excepts meridian Medicaid insurance
