Meet Jamie Tulisiak – mama, doula, yogi, and big fan of empowering women. As a ProDoula trained Bed Rest and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, and Certified Elite Birth Doula, Jamie loves walking alongside parents during pregnancy, the miracle of birth, and the amazing early stages of life––watching them gain confidence in their innate role as the perfect caregiver for their little one. In supporting them through their beautiful journey into motherhood, Jamie continues to be awed by the amazing strength of women. As a new mom herself, she is truly learning the power of non-judgmental female relationships during this time. We are stronger together! Aside from her work as a doula, Jamie is a registered yoga teacher, specializing in prenatal and postpartum yoga, and a freelance writer. She loves every single second of Michigan summers, her book club, tent camping, pub trivia, karaoke, and big, hairy pets – particularly the two cats and two dogs that have the humans outnumbered in her household. Jamie lives in Ottawa Hills with her husband and daughter.

I'm a Birth Doula specializing in hospital births. My degrees and careers in science and human anatomy and as a yoga practitioner, as well as being the mother of 3, help to inform my work as a doula. Hello! I’m Eva, a Full-Spectrum Doula proudly serving the Michiana area (Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan). My passion for birth work began when I was a teenager and has only grown stronger over the years. Before becoming a doula, I spent many years supporting families as a full-time nanny, building deep connections with parents and children in my community. I later took my passion for birth work to Hannah’s House of Michiana, where I gained invaluable experience working closely with women in various stages of their reproductive journey. ​ In the Fall of 2022, I experienced one of the most transformative moments of my life when I welcomed my son into the world. His birth ignited a powerful, unshakable calling to support other families through their own birth and postpartum journeys. After doing a home birth with my first baby, I decided I needed to become a doula! I've been certified as an elite labor doula and placenta specialist through ProDoula, and I work with a great team of other doulas as well as solo. Hi, I am a newly trained birth Doula serving the Michiana area from Kalamazoo to St. Joe to South Bend. I am currently still persuing my certification, but am very eager to jump in whole hearted to the birth world. I have two babies of my own, with two very different birth stories and I know firsthand there will always be a need and place for doula support during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period. I am naturally minded and love physiologic birth but also recognize that each woman is unique and a successful birth is by their own definition. Hi! I’m currently a full time night shift registered nurse on a psychiatric medical unit. Throughout nursing school I was a nanny working with a family from birth to almost 2 years of age. I spent most of my adolescence babysitting, volunteering at local elementary schools, and recently was a volunteer for new moms in need. I am used to staying up through the night for work and would love to help a family out during the night.

Hello! I'm Logan! My journey to becoming a doula was deeply influenced by my own personal experiences with childbirth. I've experienced a range of birth scenarios, including two cesarean sections, and three VBAC births. After my initial two C-sections, I felt a strong desire for a better birth experience. This led me to immerse myself in research about birth and VBAC options. With the knowledge I gained, I felt empowered to pursue a VBAC and was successful in achieving three vaginal births. I am passionate about educating and empowering other women to understand their options and feel supported in making the best choices for their own birth journey. I'm here to support you, as together we research, learn, and prepare for the birth you envision. I'm proud to be a certified doula through the West Michigan Midwifery Institute, and I'm committed to providing compassionate and informed support to every woman I serve.

Hi! My name is Alexa, I am a Holland native, I am a childbirth educator, and I can't wait to help you along this journey! I became passionate about birth work at about 10 year ago. So far on my journey I have tried my hand as a midwives assistant and as a doula, and have currently found a passion for Childbirth education! Coming from a liberal arts background, earning my History degree from Hope college in 2023, I have a strong foundation in research and critical thinking. This background is what I base all of my Childbirth classes in. More than just an avalanche of information, my classes teach you how to do your own research and think about what is best for you and your family. I have attended trainings in doula support, waterbirth, childbirth education, and am currently in school for nursing as well.
