About me

Meet Jamie Tulisiak – mama, doula, yogi, and big fan of empowering women. As a ProDoula trained Bed Rest and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, and Certified Elite Birth Doula, Jamie loves walking alongside parents during pregnancy, the miracle of birth, and the amazing early stages of life––watching them gain confidence in their innate role as the perfect caregiver for their little one. In supporting them through their beautiful journey into motherhood, Jamie continues to be awed by the amazing strength of women. As a new mom herself, she is truly learning the power of non-judgmental female relationships during this time. We are stronger together! Aside from her work as a doula, Jamie is a registered yoga teacher, specializing in prenatal and postpartum yoga, and a freelance writer. She loves every single second of Michigan summers, her book club, tent camping, pub trivia, karaoke, and big, hairy pets – particularly the two cats and two dogs that have the humans outnumbered in her household. Jamie lives in Ottawa Hills with her husband and daughter.

As a ProDoula trained Bed Rest and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, and Certified Elite Birth Doula, Jamie loves walking alongside parents during pregnancy, the miracle of birth, and the amazing early stages of life––watching them gain confidence in their innate role as the perfect caregiver for their little one. As a prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher (RYT200, PYT), Jamie offers women a space to embrace and connect with their changing bodies. During her own pregnancy, her practice helped her stay present, centered, and keep those stress hormones away from babe. In the fourth trimester, yoga taught her to release expectations for and judgment of my healing body and appreciate its incredible capabilities. She is thrilled to create opportunities for other mamas to share this experience.
