I am looking for extra in any support that I can at the moment I’m currently going through a divorce and my husband is not going to be a part of any of the process or the babies life. I plan to give birth at a hospital. First-time parents seeking an experienced newborn night nurse/care specialist or postpartum doula to provide overnight support for our baby girl during the first 6–8 weeks after birth (starting late September 2026). Schedule is flexible, likely around 10 PM to 7 AM. We are looking for someone with extensive newborn experience who can provide expert overnight care, assist with feeding, soothing, and sleep routines, and offer guidance and reassurance to new parents. I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal.
