I used Beth’s postpartum doula service. She is extremely knowledgeable and it was so comforting to have such a good resource helping me at home after baby. She was so helpful with my older children so I could spend some sweet time with my baby and provided encouragement along the way. I would recommend her postpartum service to anyone who is considering a postpartum doula! It is so worth it!

Beth was amazing for us! She understood what we wanted and was sensitive to our needs. Beth went above and beyond to ensure a safe and beautiful pregnancy, birth and post-natal care. I would highly recommend her and have her again!

As a Dad, I was weary of brining in someone to help us with the birth process. I felt that my job was to be the support person my wife needed and honestly, I didn’t think I needed help. All of that changed after meeting with Beth! She made us feel comfortable and assured me that her job isn’t to replace me, rather to support us during this journey. Beth even advocated for me on those days she could tell I was running on fumes and made sure I was taking care of myself too. Beth felt like family to us by the time we had our son and she really set us up for success. She gave us the tools for us to have a successful birth of our son, showed up late at night, and helped us navigate the ins and outs with the nurses and doctors even as we were pushing at the very end. Beth is a tremendous doula and one you’d be lucky to have on your team as you’re welcoming your child into the world.

When I first met Beth, I knew right away that she was knowledgeable, passionate, experienced and was going to be an advocate for me during the birth of our son. Not only did she exceed my limited expectations of what a doula would do, but she gave me skills to prepare for birth as well and gave me the confidence to give birth. The visits before were a huge help, and I couldn’t imagine not having her there for the birth of our son. She made a huge difference in the whole experience and I highly recommend her to anyone who is even considering a doula! It was life changing to have her there and I know she can do that for you too!

I used Childyear Choice Doula for my sons birth and there isn’t one thing I would change! Beth was so comforting and knowledgeable. She advocated for my birth plan in the hospital and gave my husband the advice and knowledge to know how to comfort me in ways that truly helped! She was always just a text away and I never felt uncomfortable asking a question. There’s no one I would recommend more!!

Beth was my first Doula and the only person I would have in the future! She was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She has a very calming presence and made sure everyone in my family was comfortable, not just me. She was always available for my many questions and eased all my concerns. She was able to advocate for me if I felt like I couldn’t for myself. Everything I could’ve asked for and beyond expectation for what I had envisioned my doula to be. She even still follows up and checks in, even two years after the birth she helped with :)

I used Beth as a postpartum doula after the birth of my son. We don’t have family in the area and I was searching for someone to help do anything. Beth stepped in and immediately went above and beyond. As a sleep-deprived first time mom, I didn’t know what to expect or what to really ask of her. Beth helped me with tending to the baby, helping with independent sleep tactics for the baby, nursing and latch improvement, house chores, and just general mom advice and a person to talk to when you’re home with a newborn. She loaned me books, brought me a nursing cover that I asked for and truly made my experience wonderful. I had given up on breastfeeding and was solely pumping when I found Beth. She asked me if that’s what I really wanted (and I didn’t. I wanted to breastfeed but I didn’t think I could) Beth helped change all of that. And I’m so grateful she asked the question because it changed everything for me in such a positive way. The only thing I would have changed is that I wish I found Beth sooner in my journey. I have no doubt that she would be a terrific advocate in the labor and delivery room as well. You cannot go wrong in hiring Beth.

My husband and I hired Beth as our Doula almost 2 years ago now. When we found out we were pregnant, I never even heard the word Doula or knew what it meant. After some research and recommendations, Beth came into our lives and became such a huge support in ways I didn’t know imaginable. She was very hands-on with teaching us different techniques and helping us educate ourselves on all of the possibilities that come with childbirth. When it came time for labor and delivery, she was very supportive and constantly helped me “breath” and focus when in labor. Her voice was always very calm and soothing. This helped me more than she may have known. I wanted a natural birth, but I decided on the epidural at the last second. Beth fully supported me in that moment, and she helped me not only mentally and emotionally, but also physically in every way that she could. It felt like we were a team and it felt so good to have her there with me. My husband and I plan to have a second child soon and I can’t imagine going through it without Beth! Having her there to advocate for my husband and I, when we had no idea what was going on, was such a blessing. She brought us peace even in times of uncertainty. Beth it is truly amazing and she puts her whole heart into what she does. ❤️

I did not hire a doula with my firstborn because I thought they were more just for natural/home birth. I'm so glad I was wrong! Ms. Beth was a tremendous resource before, during, and after the birth. Excellent value for the amount of time and knowledge she is putting in and she has the husband stamp of approval for how much stress she saved him too. I could not be happier and I recommend a doula and specifically her to everyone I meet.

A review will never be able to express the care Beth puts into her work nor the support she has provided me through two high risk pregnancies and difficult postpartum experiences. Beth connects deeply and personally with you during a very vulnerable time and empowers soon-to-be mothers to become knowledgeable about their options in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She is always learning more to further the best possible experience for her clients. This mindset and wisdom helped me many times have the information and determination I needed to make the best choices for me and my baby as well as to self-advocate with the hospital team as necessary. If you are looking for someone to partner with you in your birth experience goals, help provide information to make the best decisions for you and baby, and a loving, fierce advocate for those goals Childbearing Choice Doula is for you! We are so grateful for her support through delivering both of our daughters.
