I’m looking for a doula that accepts medical with cal optima insurance I’m located in La Habra, CA I’m planning in giving birth at the hospital.
1. I am exploring hospital or in home options if my health and baby growth allows (growing fibroids) 2. Budget depends on what services provided 3. Still in process of developing birth plan
I would love to look into home birth, but I don’t know much about it, I’m interested in knowing prices to know if it’s something my family can afford. I also wouldn’t mind a facility that provides the room if thats more affordable. I have no idea as to how much all of this cost so would want a run down. I currently have la healthcare as medical and I know it’s a long shot as to anyone receiving medical through here. But thought I would give it a try as well if I can save myself from paying out of pocket. Budget for me would be about $2000 I would say? I want to do things as naturally as I can and allow my body to take its course during labor. I want to avoid interferences as much possible and even avoid cord clamping, or medications. Be as relaxed and mentally trained as possible for birth.
Will be giving birth at UCI Fountain Valley Hospital Unsure of what to set budget as but open to discussion Want a natural birth, interested in hypnobirthing, delayed cord clamping, no cervix checks, no epidural, no vaccinations or eye gel, not only need support during birth but also back up support incase Drs or Nurses are having me do something that is not needed. Want to be able to move around and not lay in bed the whole time. Currently prepping my mind and body to be able to go through natural birth but being that it is my first time I will definitely need the support aside from my husbands support
First time parent just got positive at home pregnancy test
Hospital support, birthing support, id like a midwife to be my main support during my birthing process.
I would someone to advocate for me during labor as well as support me through labor. I want to go the natural route.
Would like support for our first pregnancy. We plan to give birth at the hospital, not sure about the budget and birth plan.
1. In a hospital 2. It would depend on services 3. Hospital birth. Vaginal. Prefer not to have a C-section. Prefer not to Induce. If epidural is preventable , great. But open to it if it’s recommended. Was recommended with my last birthing experience because I didn’t know the proper tools to bare contractions.
Midwife needed. Wasn't a fan of the hospital last year with my other baby. Need someone covered by anthem blue cross.
Looking to have a home birth after a prior cesarean. The time between births will be approx 19 months.
Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? 2. Provide your estimated budget 3. Describe your birth plan
Seeking to plan a home water birth this is my first pregnancy. Looking to avoid medical intervention but open to pain medication provided at home looking to deliver without episiotomy
1. Home birth 2. 10000 3. Natural birth. I would like to have specialists, my partner, and my mom there. Calming music would be great. Skin to skin is important for me and my partner. I am a first time mom so having a lactation consultant would be important.
Home birth/birthing center depending on living situation, which is uncertain at the moment. Budget is $3-5k, IEHP HMO if insurance is accepted. Unmedicated water birth, no induction whatsoever. Support and safety through birthing process rather than coaching and directing.
