About me

Hello, my name is Breanna Calder and I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula as well as Reiki Master located in south Keizer, OR. My interest in birth work started when my own children were born and I have been enamored with the magic that is childbirth ever since. It is my highest purpose to serve and uplift others. I love getting to know my clients on a deep level and learning how best to support them, catering my service to their needs. Coming from a background of Public Health and educating new parents on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood, I have strong roots in providing care and support new families need to succeed. I believe women have the tools to birth built into us and believe in empowering women as such. In my free time I love to hike with my dog, eat yummy food with my husband, and most of all, laugh with my children.

I know how overwhelming pregnancy and parenthood can be and it is my privilege to offer compassionate support to you in these areas. I offer a birth package and a postpartum support package. Complimentary Reiki is included in both packages. Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum looks different for everyone. I like to cater my services to you as you move through these unique experiences. It is my goal to create in you and your partner an increased sense of fulfillment and peace in these stages of your parenthood.

-one prenatal visit to discuss your birth goals -unlimited phone and text support throughout your pregnancy -dedicated on-call support from 38 weeks through 2 weeks postpartum -labor support at home or at the birthing facility throughout labor and two hours postpartum -notes on your labor and birthing experience including all major events, feelings, and sweet moments -take pictures as wanted -one postpartum visit to talk about your experience, ask questions, and connect you with resources -Reiki energy healing

Postpartum Support
This consists of me bottle-feeding baby or assisting with breastfeeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing baby, assisting baby to sleep soundly, tidying up after baby, light laundry, and emotional support for you and your partner. Day shifts and night shifts available.
