I have a family maternity doctor, and I am planning to give birth in the hospital. However, I just found out that I may have coverage for a birthing coach and a lactation consultant that I believe could be helpful during and/or after birth! My budget is $1000 for a birthing coach, and a lactation consultant for $125 per hour, for up to 2 hours.

However, I do know I prefer an unmedicated, vaginal birth unless it is medically necessary to have a C-section. Delayed cord clamping is highly preferred. I would also prefer to rotate between birthing tub, ball, bed, etc.
