About me

Hi, I’m Brittany — a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist with over a decade of experience supporting children and families. My journey began as a nanny, walking alongside little ones through milestones like sleep shaping, potty training, and fostering independence. Over time, I felt called to serve families in the postpartum season — a tender window where parents deserve both expert care and compassionate support. My philosophy is rooted in gentle rhythms and responsive care. I believe parents thrive when they feel seen, equipped, and never alone — and I count it a privilege to come alongside families during such an important chapter. Whether it’s offering overnight newborn support, guiding recovery in the early weeks, or helping toddlers adjust to new siblings, my goal is always to create a foundation of rest, confidence, and peace. Outside of work, you can usually find me exploring local markets, seashell hunting along the Carolina coast, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or spending time with my two dogs, Peaches and Pepperoni. Those little joys keep me grounded, and I bring that same warmth and presence into the homes I serve.

Service introduction

At Carolina Nanny Co., my specialty is overnight newborn care — giving parents the gift of rest while knowing their baby is in trusted hands. Overnight support often looks like soothing and feeding your baby during the night, handling diaper changes, and tracking sleep and feeding patterns, all while helping establish gentle rhythms that promote longer stretches of rest for everyone. Parents are able to wake up feeling more restored, confident, and cared for during those early weeks. In addition to overnights, I also provide daytime postpartum care, where I support feeding, recovery, and practical needs around the home; toddler and sibling support, helping older children adjust to new routines with gentleness and care; and à la carte services such as registry building and nursery setup. Every service is designed to create space for parents to breathe, recover, and enjoy their little ones, knowing they don’t have to walk this season alone.

Packages
Overnight Newborn Care
Bring peace and rest back into your nights. With overnight care, I arrive in the evening and care for your baby throughout the night — handling feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and tracking sleep/wake patterns — so you can truly rest. If you’re breastfeeding, I’ll bring baby to you for feeds and take care of settling them back down so you don’t lose precious sleep. Overnight shifts are typically 8–10 hours and can be booked as a single night, multiple nights each week, or in packages tailored to your family’s needs. Beyond just getting you more rest, I’ll also provide gentle guidance on newborn rhythms, helping lay a healthy foundation for sleep while supporting your recovery and confidence as parents.

Daytime Postpartum Care
Take a deep breath and let me support you through the early weeks of parenthood. Daytime postpartum care is designed to help you recover, feel supported, and confidently navigate life with a newborn. I provide hands-on assistance with feeding, soothing, and newborn care, while also helping with light household tasks, meal prep, and sibling support so you can focus on healing and bonding with your baby. Sessions are typically 4–6 hours and can be booked as a single day, recurring visits, or a customized schedule that fits your family’s needs. My goal is to create a calm, nurturing space where you feel empowered, rested, and cared for — because thriving parents help babies thrive too.

5 stars aren’t enough to recommend Brittany! From the moment we brought our little man home 10 weeks ago, she has been an absolute godsend. Her expert care, natural ability to soothe and connect with him, and the steady stream of wisdom and encouragement she’s provided have been nothing short of incredible. Brittany has brought us so much peace of mind—and more support than we ever imagined from his good days to helping us work through his tummy troubles. We’re beyond grateful for her!
