We are looking for a Doula or postnatal care specialist that is covered by our insurance. We have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York. We are not interested in exclusively out of pocket care providers due to cost reasons unfortunately!
Hi, I'm looking for a doula to support me through my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. My due date is April 2026, and I’m hoping to find someone who can offer guidance and support throughout the pregnancy, be present during labor, and provide postpartum support and advice as well. I will give birth that the Alexandra Cohen hospital in NYC. I don't have a detailed birth plan yet but so far, I know that I would like to have a vaginal birth with epidural, and I'd like to try to deliver in a standing position. I would like a Doula who can be covered by Maven as I get this through my employer. Thank you!

Natural birth at home, water birth without being drugged up
I am a new mom. Single mom, pregnant through IVF. 42 years old.
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with my first child and recently returned to Brooklyn after spending the past three months of my pregnancy overseas. My due date is June 28th, and I am now exploring my options for labor and delivery. A water birth has always been my preferred choice, and I am currently considering alternatives to a traditional hospital setting, including birthing centers. As this is my first pregnancy, I feel I am still learning about the many avenues of childbirth and would greatly value guidance and education throughout this process. I am reaching out to inquire about your doula services and to see if you may be a good fit to support me during pregnancy, labor, and birth. I would love the opportunity to connect, learn more about your approach, and discuss how you support clients in exploring their birth preferences. I am also interested in any insight you may have regarding insurance coverage or reimbursement related to doula care. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of connecting. Warm regards, Adriana

Private hospital (NYU) Second pregnancy Will be using informed medical interventions like epidurals, etc. but looking for someone who will assist me with relaxation, breathing and hands on techniques (massage etc) I want a South Asian doula - I need my name to be pronounced correctly throughout the birthing process.
I am a trans man. I am seeking a birth doula who is invested in supporting trans pregnancy and the many complications of experiencing dysphoria in pregnancy, and supporting my needs as a trans parent through the birthing process. Additionally, I have hypertension and rheumatoid arthritis, and persistent proteinuria and am seeing a high risk doctor for my birth. I would like to have a non-c-section in the hospital setting with my MFM practice, and be supported in my needs as a gestational parent and birthing person. Also I would like a doula who is equipped to support my wife as non-gestational parent and new queer parents. We have dealt with loss (she had an early miscarriage when we TTC'd earlier in life) and this has impacted my experience of pregnancy as well. I plan to give birth at NYU Langone. Our estimated budget for a doula is $2500, but we are just starting this journey and are open to alternatives.
