It's only myself and my husband who works a lot of out of town jobs or stays late. My mom is elderly so she doesn't have much time to help me. I've had horrible post partum before. I need a safe space so what I say is heard before birth during birth, and after I would like someone that is sympathetic and easy-going I have a very hard at home life and it’s affecting my pregnancy now I have a high risk pregnancy and I have gallstones i’m not getting the best. I need a midwife that is CNM certified so that Tricare will cover it. Unfortunately we cannot afford a midwife on our own and need to walk through what our insurance will cover. We don't know our situation yet as far as a home birth or needing a midwife to meet us at a nearby hospital when the time comes so we would love someone able to do either one. One big factor in desiring a midwife is to have the personal care and time of the same provider at each baby appointment and to be able to reach out to that midwife at anytime if I have questions or concerns along the way in pregnancy.
