Alexandra was born and raised in Europe, in the Netherlands, and has always worked with children, especially with newborns and infants, in some capacity or another. She started as a teenage Babysitter, then became a Summer Au-Pair, Nanny, Nurse, Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist; and now also as a Nanny Agency Owner. Every family she has supported holds a special place in her heart. Her calm demeanor, caring and loving personality; and the many years of well-rounded experience, skill and knowledge in all aspects of and about in-home childcare, give parents peace of mind. I looked back on my experience unhappy with the things that were ‘done to me,’ rather than being able to make educated decisions based on evidence and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to be more prepared and have a completely different birth experience. I did a lot of research on evidence-based practices and created an ideal vision for what I wanted this next birth to look like.
