Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my site and for your interest in my services. I would love to give you a little info about me so you can better understand who I am and how I can help you along your journey in parenthood. My name is Janee and I live in Cypress with my husband, Jake and our 4 daughters- Olivia, Sophia, Avery, and Harper. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized how underprepared I was for labor. I looked back on my experience unhappy with the things that were ‘done to me,’ rather than being able to make educated decisions based on evidence and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to be more prepared and have a completely different birth experience. I did a lot of research on evidence-based practices and created an ideal vision for what I wanted this next birth to look like. After my dream birth, I immediately felt justified for wanting more for myself AND my baby. I had a newfound sense of empowerment as a mother. Ever since, I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing birth community to help other families feel this same joy. My goal is to provide gentle education, encouragement, and support in whichever ways you need it, while tending to your family’s unique needs during this beautiful time in your life. I am a trained Doula through DONA International. I also have extensive training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I welcome all inquiries. Please use my Contact page to send me a message about what you’re looking for and how I can help you. I look forward to speaking with you!

My goal is to ensure that every person has an empowered birth experience, where they feel informed and supported. Whether you are planning a medicated or non-medicated, hospital, birth center, or home birth, vaginal delivery or cesarean.. I am here to support you. I offer inclusive care for birth and postpartum experiences.
As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.

My husband and I hired Janée for the birth of our second baby. The first go around, I had no idea what a doula was, and felt out of control in the hospital. I was left feeling dissatisfied with my birth experience. Janée listened to my fears, and immediately helped me feel comfortable with her. She suggested a great birth class and books to read so we could be more educated this time around. She worked with me on my birth plan ahead of time so I could be more prepared, which was definitely helpful. I was able to achieve the unmedicated birth that I was hoping for and I am forever grateful to Janée for the support she was able to provide my husband and me during this time of transition in our family. If you are in search of a doula, I definitely recommend her.

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Janée was amazing at assisting me in my first birth. I had an induced, medicated, hospital birth, and it was a little intomidating to start. Janée came as soon as my partner told her we needed her, and brought a lot of very helpful tools with her to help me through labor before the epidural. She brought birthing combs, a TENS machine, massage roller balls, snacks, and even offered to bring coffee. She's amazing. When I needed her to apply pressure to my back, she did it without hesitation and always applied enough pressure to take my mind off the contraction pain. She put my hair up in a ponytail while I vomited, took pictures of my partner and I to remember the experience, and overall was such an amazing addition to my choice of support people. I would obviously ask her to be my doula in the future if I were to have another baby. She helped me u derstand the birthing process, and get comfortable beforehand with the things that might happen. She was available through text with answers and advice to any questions or concerns I may have. I loved her so much that I invited her to our month after baby party. My partner really appreciated her help as well when it came to calming me down, and getting me through the labor. All in all I would say, Janée did not dissappoint and I owe her tremendously for making this experience such a breeze and joy for my partner, our baby, and myself. I would say more but they only allow 2,000 characters. Thank you Janée <3.
