Hello, I am looking for a birth doula for my second pregnancy. I am planning on doing a homebirth again and need someone well versed in mood setting, efficient movement during labor and multiple different types of comfort tools for laboring.
Labor Support: I would like my husband,, to be with me at all times during my hospital stay and present for any and all procedures from hospital admission through discharge. No AROM: I would like to allow my water to break naturally if possible. Please no artificial rupture of membranes unless medically necessary. No Pitocin: Please no Pitocin unless medically necessary. Ok with small amount post-birth. Minimal Vaginal Exams: Vaginal exams only upon my express consent. Please limit exams to the absolute minimum. No Students/Interns: I do not wish for students or interns to observe or participate in my care at this time. No Male Staff: No male staff present in room at all times. No Time Limits: I would like to be allowed to progress without stringent time limits, in the absence of fetal distress or a true medical emergency. Delayed Pushing: I would like to “labor down” until I feel the urge to push. Choice of Positions: I would like to be given a choice to push in whatever position feels most comfortable (such as side lying, squatting, semi-sitting, or on hands and knees) No Episiotomy: No episiotomy without my express consent. I prefer to tear naturally if necessary. No Instrumental Delivery: Please do not use a vacuum extractor or forceps without my express consent. I need a doula for labor and delivery of my first child
Hi!! I’m looking for a doula to assist during labor for emotional and physical. I have a lot on my birth plan that I would want someone to advocate for my husband baby and I.
Frisco Texas Budget 2k max Wanted to birth in a birthing center but no longer a possibility. Hoping to be as natural as possible, cutting umbilical cord once white. Not wanting loud noises or many people in the room while giving birth. Skin to skin as birthed. Not willing to lay back and wait. Not interested in typical medical processes of current labor practices.
This will be my first delivery, my desire is to do it unmedicated in the hospital. Will like to discuss budget and pricing in person. I will like for my provider to at the least have a masters or higher in education and over 3 years in labor and delivery. Doula is my number one top choice at the moment, I have an OBGYN already.
i need a doula please email me burcvdley@gmail.com
Plan to give birth at hospital. Baylor Scott and White. Do you guys accept insurance? I don’t want any vaccines or immediately cord clamping.
I am a first time mom planning to give birth in the hospital with an epidural. Other than that, I have very limited knowledge on the whole process and that is why I’m looking for someone.
Planning a hospital birth Budget 1,000-3,99 Because this is an IVF pregnancy, I am looking for a doula who understands the emotional significance of this journey and will provide compassionate, continuous support. I value informed consent and would like all procedures, interventions, and newborn care options explained before decisions are made whenever possible. My goal is a low-intervention birth with freedom to move during labor, use natural comfort measures, minimal cervical checks when appropriate, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and uninterrupted bonding time after birth. I would prefer to avoid induction solely for convenience or to speed up labor and do not want to feel pressured into a cesarean birth unless it is medically necessary. I would also like time to discuss and make informed decisions regarding newborn procedures and injections, rather than having them performed immediately after birth. Most importantly, I am looking for a calm, knowledgeable, evidence-based doula who will help me feel respected, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.
hospital birth Having VBAC 2000$ Max budget over 10 years of experience
I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.
