As an orthopedic and pelvic PT, yoga therapist and pilates instructor, I work with a variety of people who are seeking to better understand their bodies and optimize health. Often people seek my services when they are experiencing distressing symptoms, but I also work with people who want to minimize the risk of symptoms. Pregnancy can be an exceptional time to listen to your body's signals and learn from it's wisdom. We know that those who carry children to term are at a higher risk for developing pelvic floor and core dysfunction, it is a natural accommodation that the maternal body makes to accommodate growing life! I am passionate about working with this population to provide the support they need to feel resilient, strong, capable so that they can recover from the amazing physical and emotional feat of bringing a new life into the world. We are highly adaptive, and with the right support and resources, healing and transformation is possible. By honoring the divine feminine and supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself, you can embrace pregnancy and post-partum (or very postpartum!) with a sense of confidence and connectedness to their inner strength.

When Catherine lived in Chicago, she was my go-to for pelvic PT referrals for my pregnant and postpartum clients. She is a wealth of knowledge and I continue to use her as a resource in my yoga therapy practice when I am in need of information about clients with hypermobility disorders.
