Hello, my name is Galilea Monterroso, I am located in Princeton and service the DFW Metroplex. I am completing my Postpartum Doula Certification through CAPPA. I have 4 years of experience as a nanny in the area and look forward to focusing on postpartum care and newborns. I will always try to create a judgment-free space for all parents seeking informational and emotional support. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, reading, crocheting and golfing.

I am a mother of two, and after having my two I never knew the many different ways my birth could've been easier or more comfortable. Now as a Birth Doula, I am excited to give mothers and their partners that comfort, before and through child birth and after. It is a true blessing to help women and their families.

My passion for supporting women through their feeding journeys began with my own. I am a mom of two boys, and I struggled immensely to breastfeed my first baby. I dealt with numerous issues including poor transfer & weight gain, supply issues, elastic nipples, flange sizing issues, and recurrent clogged ducts & milk blebs. I sought out help from a number of professionals including midwives, OB/GYNs, lactation consultants, breast surgeons, chiropractors, and integrative medicine doctors. None of them were able to help me with my recurrent issues, and I ultimately weaned much sooner than I wanted to because of these problems. I made it my mission to learn everything I could in preparation for my next baby. Although I faced unexpected challenges with my second pregnancy and delivery due to placenta previa, I was able to transition from exclusively pumping for my premature baby who spent 24 days in the NICU, to exclusively nursing by the time he was 2.5 months old! I have also been fortunate enough to donate thousands of ounces to NICU babies in need. My personal experience and the passion I developed for sharing my knowledge with other moms lead me to pursue my CLC credential, and begin my IBCLC journey as well. My goal is always to help you feed with confidence. I am a Certified Lactation Counselor, and a student earning my clinical hours to sit for the IBCLC exam under Leslie Owens, RN/IBCLC. Any issues that require clinical intervention or evaluation beyond my scope of practice will be referred to Leslie or a qualified IBCLC local to you.

I am Amanda, I am a wife, truth loving, mama of 4. I have had 2 unexpected cesareans and 2 successful vaginal homebirths. For 9 years I have been advocating, teaching, and rooting for moms in their pregnancy, births, through postpartum and in their motherhood. I am a homeschooling/stay at home mother, homeopathic medicine believer, Jesus and wildflower lover, and lover of all things old, vintage, unique, and with a little character. I was and am a young mom and started off with little to no knowledge on how to have a baby, let alone how to take care of my baby, what to expect in those seasons of my life, and how to advocate for myself and family. Through education, tools and other wise mothers I was able to know what my mom-gut was leading to me do and I am now able to walk confidently on a path that is best for me and my family, and I am so excited to share that with you and to help you do the same!

Even though I had to make some shifts in my birth plan, I felt confident in my birth experience because of the love and care they showed me. I have always had a desire to serve and support women.
