My passion for supporting women through their feeding journeys began with my own. I am a mom of two boys, and I struggled immensely to breastfeed my first baby. I dealt with numerous issues including poor transfer & weight gain, supply issues, elastic nipples, flange sizing issues, and recurrent clogged ducts & milk blebs. I sought out help from a number of professionals including midwives, OB/GYNs, lactation consultants, breast surgeons, chiropractors, and integrative medicine doctors. None of them were able to help me with my recurrent issues, and I ultimately weaned much sooner than I wanted to because of these problems. I made it my mission to learn everything I could in preparation for my next baby. Although I faced unexpected challenges with my second pregnancy and delivery due to placenta previa, I was able to transition from exclusively pumping for my premature baby who spent 24 days in the NICU, to exclusively nursing by the time he was 2.5 months old! I have also been fortunate enough to donate thousands of ounces to NICU babies in need. My personal experience and the passion I developed for sharing my knowledge with other moms lead me to pursue my CLC credential, and begin my IBCLC journey as well. My goal is always to help you feed with confidence. I am a Certified Lactation Counselor, and a student earning my clinical hours to sit for the IBCLC exam under Leslie Owens, RN/IBCLC. Any issues that require clinical intervention or evaluation beyond my scope of practice will be referred to Leslie or a qualified IBCLC local to you.

Quinn has been incredibly helpful for my breastfeeding journey for my second baby. I never had a good supply or could breastfeed my first child and I honestly thought it would end up the same way when I had another baby. I am now breastfeeding my second baby and have more than enough milk. I never would have been able to do that without Quinn’s help!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Quinn virtually, and I’m still in awe of how thorough, knowledgeable, and supportive she was, despite not being in the room with me physically. From start to finish, she made me feel seen, heard, and completely supported. We covered everything, from flange sizing (which was a total game-changer for my comfort and output), to understanding bottles, primary pump settings, hand expression techniques, and dealing with issues like engorgement and even blood blisters. No topic was too small or too awkward. She addressed all of my questions with kindness, professionalism, and so much expertise. What stood out to me the most was her ability to guide me clearly through complicated & painful pumping issues with patience and encouragement, even over a screen. She made a virtual session feel just as personal and effective as an in-person one, if not more. I never felt rushed, and I walked away from each session feeling more confident and informed. If you're navigating breastfeeding or pumping challenges or just want a trusted expert to guide you even virtually look no further. Quinn is truly exceptional!
