About me

Hi, I’m Italia, the heart behind Healing Mama Brand LLC I am a doula, maternal wellness advocate, and holistic support guide for mothers navigating pregnancy, birth, and the often-overlooked postpartum season. My work is rooted in the belief that mothers deserve just as much care as their babies. I support families with evidence-based education, emotional grounding, advocacy, and culturally affirming care—especially for Black and underserved mothers—through birth support, postpartum care, journaling, and community healing spaces. Whether you’re preparing to give birth, adjusting to life after baby, or learning how to pour back into yourself, I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered—not rushed or silenced. This is more than birth work. This is healing, holding, and honoring the mother. This is Healing Mama.

The Healing Mama Full Experience
The Healing Mama Full Experience is a bespoke, full-spectrum doula experience crafted for mothers who require exceptional care, discretion, and depth throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. This offering includes three private prenatal appointments, held in person or virtually, curated to support emotional grounding, physical preparation, and informed decision-making. Care is tailored—never templated—and centered on honoring the mother as the foundation of the birth experience. Clients receive continuous, attentive labor and birth support, with a focus on calm presence, advocacy, and seamless integration within the birth space. Following birth, support continues with one hour of immediate postpartum care, a thoughtfully prepared Healing Mama Care Package, and a private in-person postpartum visit dedicated to recovery, processing, and restoration. To further nourish the body, six complimentary postpartum meals are provided. For up to six weeks postpartum, clients have direct, ongoing access for guidance, reassurance, and support during the transition into motherhood. The Healing Mama Atelier is reserved for a limited number of clients to preserve the integrity, attentiveness, and intimacy of care. This offering is ideal for mothers seeking elevated, high-touch support—where healing, presence, and excellence are non-negotiable.
