Greetings! My name is Christine Scarlett. I am a former pediatric nurse and now a certified birth, sibling, and postpartum doula. I am also a Certified Perinatal Patient Advocate, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Educator of Infant Massage, and Gift Registry Advocate. Perhaps my best credential is being the mother of seven adult children and grandmother of many. I have had one cesarean, six VBAC’s, and sadly, one miscarriage. My personal experiences run the gamut of hospital, home, and waterbirth. I have many years of breastfeeding experience and do volunteer work in that field. Hi, I'm Kay! I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a proud member of Marigold Birth Collective. My doula practice is centered around evidence based education, a strong belief that every birth can be improved by support, and a deep passion for learning and advocacy. One of my biggest goals as a doula is to convince the world that all birthing people can use a doula - doulas are not just for unmedicated births, vaginal births, or "crunchy" home births.
