Looking for a midwife for prenatal care. With my previous pregnancy, I had planned for a homebirth but passed 42 weeks and ended up needing a C-section. I would like midwife care before the birth(currently only 5 weeks along) but we plan to give birth at a hospital this time because of our previous experience.

Almost 7 weeks along with baby number 2. Recent miscarriage in June. I have a toddler at home. With him I had a very rough pregnancy and birth, and I’m wanting a better experience this time around. I have PCOS- and have dealt with infertility battles. My husband and I are both nurses, however are very holistic. I would love to have another person advocating for my birth plan.

An ultrasound to find out how far along I’m I am I I could be 5 weeks to 3 months pregnant possibly with twins as twins run in my family I’m very high risk pregnancy I got ultrasound once a month with my last pregnancy I tied my tubes so this is a miracle baby so please schedule a ultrasound asap

Home birth. No budget at the moment but there is time to figure out a low cost. Medicaid billing only. Non medicated, naturally managed pain relief. Massage, counter pressure, peanut ball, yoga ball, tennis ball, support person keeping steady count out loud for me to focus on while going through contractions near the end. No cord cutting until mother says so- extended time needed. No pulling on cord as the placenta is being delivered. Doppler use for checking babies heart while in labor. Free movement necessary for pain management. Baby is to recieve no eye ointment, no vaccines, and remain in mother's arms for immediate bonding. No blood sugar testing. Breastfeeding as soon as the baby is ready, on demand. Frequent sessions on breastfeeding expected and given.

Mainly nanny work, cleaning, child supervision etc.

Birth plan is hopefully unmedicated, natural birth. I am having twins and already am hearing from doctors and family members that "It's too much, just do a C-section" I don't want to have a C-section and I want to avoid an epidural if possible. I don't have really much in the list category yet but that's my main goal. And hopefully minimal tearing if there's tricks to prevent that. No routine episiotomy. Not sure on a budget, not sure how much a doula or a midwife would cost. I plan to give birth at Akron General, but nothing set in stone.

I just want to be home, in my own environment to be able to give birth to my baby. I am a nurse but I am not well versed in the complications that can come with pregnancy and delivery.
