Looking for a homebirth doula and midwife to assist with first pregnancy. Not pregnant at the moment but looking to start interviewing our birthing team !

I am looking for a midwife, as I do not want to use an ob/gyn. I would ideally like to do a home birth. If for some reason I am unable to do a home birth, I want an uneducated birth, hopefully in a birth center. I would love to work with a midwife who also has nursing experience but am not completely set on it. I would like both a midwife and doula who have christian beliefs to match mine. I do not yet have an estimated budget. We are only about 4 weeks pregnant. I am looking for a midwife to schedule and ultrasound with. I already had an hcg blood test done.

I would like to have a home water birth, unmedicated, I am currently unsure of my budget, this is my first child so I’m not sure how much these things usually cost, but I do know my budget would be lower. For my birth I want minimal intervention and I want to do it as naturally as possible. I would like to have a water birth or have a birth pool present as an option! I want to be able to move around and eat while in labor and when baby gets here I want delayed cord clamping until the cord is white and stops pulsing. Those are the most important things. Also, we have Christian values and it would be a plus if our midwife did as well but it’s not a requirement.

I would like to have a non medicated, natural birth with delayed cord clamping & would like to breast feed my baby.

I want a natural birth, meaning I need a dual to help me find pain relief other ways and educate me and advocate for me

I am interested in a home birth. Unsure about budget. Would like minimal to no interventions.
